2004 '04 Ford F-250 F250 F 250 Extra Cab Diesel 2wd F350 F 350 Stick Shift on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:148000

2004 6.0L diesel stick shift. I have had this truck since it was brand new. I have not had any real problems with it. It has been well maintained and used to go back and forth from Arizona to California. It has a few small dents/dings but overall it is in good shape. (see pictures) It has never been in an accident. The bed has a few holes drilled in it from a fifth wheel hitch. I towed a trailer one way from California to Arizona and never used it again.

The truck has a basic interior and features which makes it easy to keep clean if you use it for a work truck and one less thing to worry about breaking. The driver’s side seat is starting to wear, but it is not torn yet and is fairly comfortable. The rest of the seats are in decent shape as well. The only modification that has been done to it was the exhaust. I saved the stock parts if you need them. I recently had the turbo ring cleaned and it seems to run very well and has lots of power.  The tires are in good shape and should last a few thousand more miles.  Surprisingly it gets very good mileage 20+ on the highway.

Please look at pictures before you bid. If you have a question ask. Being sold locally and auction can be ended at any time.  Sold as is. No returns or warranties.  If you are not serious don’t bid.

Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.

Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.

2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Up until now, it's been some years since I managed to get behind the wheel of the hot Mustangs tuned by the folks at Roush Performance. My memories of those vehicles are fond, as the Roush up-fits usually make for better-driving examples of the iconic Ford pony, with better-tuned suspensions, excellent short-shift kits and, of course, huge additions of power. The wake-your-neighbors aural characteristics of these cars have been nothing short of outstanding, too.
But in the years since my last experience with the Roush formula, Ford's own development team has churned out some pretty potent 'Stangs. We currently live in a world where the Blue Oval will sell you a Mustang with 662 horsepower from the factory, and the recently departed Boss 302 remains one of the best Mustangs - and best sports coupes - the Autoblog crew has ever driven.
So with great-driving and hugely powerful Mustangs coming straight off the line at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant, does the Roush package still offer that extra special something to make it stand out? I spent a week with a Stage 3 coupe to find out.
