It has the powerful Triton V10. It's the FX4 package, not just the 4x4 package, which means it comes with skid plates underneath. The 4x4 is electronic shift on the fly.

V10 Engine
136,xxx miles
Long Bed
SuperCrew (Extended Cab)
FX4 offroad package
XLT
4" lift suspension lift (not dangerous lift blocks!)
37" Military Tires (Run flats, very tough tire)
Transmission was rebuilt by previous owner @ 105000 miles. (I have the receipt from him)
All 10 spark plugs and 2 coilover plugs were replaced about 20,000 miles ago
MOOG Upper and Lower Ball joints installed when plugs were replaced.
Tow Package (NO 5th Wheel ever installed)
Has a toolbox, a little beat up but works, locks and I have keys for it.
Spray in Bed liner
K&N Air Filter (Not Cold air intake)
2008-2013 Tow mirrors Power
GoRhino 3 step running boards
Fabtech Dual Steering Stabilizer
Reverse Back Up Sensors in the bumper (Very helpful backing this beast up!)

This is a STRONG great running truck! Miles and condition aren't bad for a 10 year old truck!
Please remember that it is a 10 year old truck though. Couple small dents and scratches.
I've never had an issue with this truck other than ball joints which I replaced both upper and lower with Moog's.
I did just get a crack in the windshield form a semi the other day. Not too bad and its in the Passenger side top corner so don't hurt view at all.

Tires have good tread left, but they need rotated and balanced. They are heavy duty military tires so newer tires will probably make it ride a little better.
Previous owner did cut the bumper because he was going to run bigger tires and needed more room. Used bumpers or replacements can be found on here for good prices.

If you want a truck that will pull and do anything you ask of it, but don't want the issues with a diesel and the costly maintenance of a diesel, the V10 is the best choice for you! The 5.4 V8's in the Super Duty's just are what they are in a lighter F150. An oil change alone for a diesel will run you $80-100 or more depending on the oil you want to use. I only run Motorcraft (Ford OEM) Full-Synthetic and Motorcraft oil filter. When I replaced the spark plugs and the 2 COP's that needed replaced, I only used Motorcraft. It's known that these trucks prefer to run with OEM parts.

I have the original window sticker and Owner Manual!

The picture below with the FX4 and the scratch/dent is the worst on the truck.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Fri, 16 May 2014

Earlier this week, Ford invited us to Charlotte, NC, to ride in an all-new 2015 Mustang fitted with its turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. It's the first forced-induction, four-cylinder ponycar for the Blue Oval since the sun set on the 1986 Mustang SVO. We jumped at the opportunity, as only a handful of people have ever been in the passenger seat of this new car, and most automotive media won't get as close as we did until this fall.
As we revealed in our Deep Dive, Ford will slot this new turbocharged four as premium powerplant between its naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6 and the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8. At last mention, the automaker said the direct-injected, all-aluminum engine will develop 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, returning the best fuel economy of the three powerplants in the process. History buffs will note that those figures are appreciably stouter than the 200 horses and 240 lb-ft that the '86 SVO realized out of the same displacement, and the latter's figures were hugely impressive at the time. On paper, the new EcoBoost four looks to be a good fit for most owners who want to balance performance with efficiency - we were eager to see how it felt from the passenger seat.

Win a car while supporting a charity this holiday season

Thu, Dec 9 2021

Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change. No donation or payment necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. See official rules on Omaze.  The leaves have fallen, there is a crispness to the air and there have already been multiple forecasts of snow, which can only mean one thing: We're coming up on Christmas. While you've been busy thinking about what kind of gifts you're going to give your loved ones, we here at Autoblog have been deciding which dream car we'd like to see in our driveway on Christmas morning. A car for Christmas does seem a bit extreme and expensive, but thanks to these Omaze sweepstakes, it doesn't have to break the bank. Here are the current sweepstakes we'd like to win this holiday season. Win a DeLorean DMC-12 - Enter at Omaze James Riswick, West Coast Editor: Let me be clear, the DeLorean is a pretty terrible car. Its speedometer doesn't even go up to the fabled 88 mph. Seriously, look at the pictures: tops out at 85. Also, who services a DeLorean? And how much would it cost to maintain one? $AlloftheMoney or just $MostoftheMoney? So owning it could be a total headache, but at least by winning one through Omaze, you'd be relieved of the financial burden of buying one in the first place. You'd also get the chance to own one of the most iconic cars of all time, one that transcends car enthusiasm and is instantly recognizable by everyone as the "Back to the Future" car. Plus, "everyone" doesn't know that the DeLorean was actually a pretty terrible car. So, I already own James Bond's car from 1995, why not Doc Brown's from 1985? Win a 2021 Bentley Bentayga V8 - Enter at Omaze Eddie Sabatini, Production Manager: Why am I choosing a +$200K Bentley SUV? Because even if I could afford one I'd never be able to wrap my head around spending money on one. So why not try to win one by donating what I can afford to a good cause? I first saw the Bentley Bentayga up close and personal at the Frankfurt Motor Show (I forget which year but I'll never forget this SUV). And although it looks like the Bentayga Omaze is offering up doesn't have the opulent tailgate setup I fell in love with when I saw it in Frankfurt, I'd still enter to win. Win a 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda - Enter at Omaze Byron Hurd, Editor: Few automotive marketing efforts stick out in my head more than the Mercedes-Benz holiday spots and magazine placements.
