For Sale is a 2000 Ford F250 Crew Cab Power Stroke Diesel truck. This is a ONE Family owner truck.THIS TRUCK IS FULLY SERVICED & DOCUMENTED My father-in-law bought the truck brand new in 2000. He used it the first 100,000 miles to drive back & forth to his lake house at Texhoma. He only used it to move his boat in & out of the water at the Lake. After that he retired the truck to his business as a back up vehicle in case any of his regular trucks went down. I bought the truck about a year & half ago to use as a shop truck at my automotive business. Truck has a Class 3 under bumper hitch & the 5th wheel hitch in the bed. Truck is already wired with a electric trailer brake hook up. I just replaced the 7 prong trailer plug at the hitch.
Here is a LIST of ALL the items that have been serviced or replaced on this truck lately:
1.) Front axle shaft & hub bearing, upper & lower B/J.
2.)All vacuum seals on front & Hub bearing axle shaft & inner and outer seals.
3).NEW serpitine belt.
4)FULL Transmission flush & service.
5.) All Front sway bar bushings.
6.)ALL NEW shocks front & rear.
7.)ALL 4 NEW tires
8.)New brakes Front & rear
9.)Replace rear wheel bearing & Diff fluid.
10.)Full Oil service
In May of 2012 the truck was Hailed on while sitting outside my business. I have collected on the Hail but did not have it fixed. It was just under $3100 dollars. The truck had NO glass breakage just body damage. I have included pictures of the before & after in the ad. This truck would make a great work or farm truck SINCE we have replaced so many of the wear items. KBB shows a base value of $10,813 for the truck. Then minus the hail damage.
I am replacing it with a NEWER truck & did not want to give it away at a dealer. I prefer for another individual to get the truck to use.
PLEASE contact me with any questions before bidding!! LOOK at my feedback!! Thanks, Jay

Report: GM struggling to market turbo technology
Tue, 20 Apr 2010In the automotive realm, marketing can sometimes prove just as important as the actual product. Take, for instance, Ford's well regarded EcoBoost technology, which couples turbocharging with direct injection to produce more horsepower and reduce fuel consumption. Would it surprise you to hear that General Motors has had similar technology on the market for over three years?
It's true. GM's first turbocharged, direct injected powerplants hit the market for the 2007 model. The 2.0-liter Ecotec mills put down an impressive 260 horsepower and a matching 260 pound-feet of torque, and they were lauded by the press in the engine bays of the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Chevrolet Cobalt SS and Chevrolet HHR SS. But few people outside a core group of enthusiasts actually remember this fact.
Says Uwe Grebe, executive director of GM's global advanced engineering, "We didn't have a badge and say, 'This is the most important thing we will put on all our brochures.'" Ford, however, did just that, and it's EcoBoost engines are right at the tips of all our tongues when we discuss today's most advanced powerplants. So, how does The General fix its mistake?
Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.
Creations n' Chrome Top Notch Mustang is a one-of-a-kind fox
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Is there a cooler car from the 1980s and early 90s to mod than a Fox-body Ford Mustang? No, there isn't. If you disagree with us, we suggest you have a look at this 1990 Mustang Coupe, which just might change your mind. Although considering just how extensively modified this car - the Top Notch Mustang from Creations n' Chrome - is, we wonder just how much Ford is left in this old pony.
It rides on a custom race tube chassis that weighs a scant 700 pounds, while carbon-fiber bits and bobs help lower the overall curb weight to a mere 2,400 pounds. When paired with supercharged, 5.0-liter, Aluminator V8 from Ford Racing, the results are, doubtlessly, exciting. 855 horsepower at the rear wheels and 667 pound-feet of torque are available from that force-fed V8 should be just plenty for this car's intended purpose of running in standing-mile competitions.
The Top Notch Mustang is more extreme than just weight savings and a big engine, though. That 5.0-liter is essentially in what's known as a front-mid layout - where the engine is actually behind the front axle. In this case, the 5.0-liter V8 is 17 inches further back than a factory Fox-body, for better weight distribution. As a result, the cabin has been completely overhauled. An SLA front suspension, wheels from HRE, Wilwood brakes and Sparco interior items round out the extensive list of mods.
