Up for Auction, 2000 F250 Crew Cab with 7.3 Powerstroke
I cannot say enough about this truck. It runs very good, I had a Powerstroke Diesel shop go through it and everything works great. They replaced the water pump, all the hoses, repacked the front bearings, checked the hubs, replaced the rear brakes. Transfer case shifts into 4 wheel high and low smooth. I put new BF Goodrich tires on it. Comes with a spare. Newer model headlights. Overall truck is in good condition. All the power windows operate. Seats are pretty nice, leather is in overall good condition, but appears that the back seat was painted over. Still looks ok. Truck runs great, fires up everytime and blows cold air. Doesn't run hot and no check engine light on the dash. Doesn't burn oil or smoke. Also has a magnaflow exhaust system. Just an old reliable Ford, they way they used to be. I have put a few thousand in it to get it to run as good as it does. I have the receipts, they go to the new owner along with the title.
Please feel free to contact me to view or test drive this truck prior to the auction ending. Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction ending. No warranty expressed or implied. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer. Sale will come with a bill of sale and title.
The only item that needs installed is the front driveshaft. I have it, but the flange does not fit the transfer case. (Ford has made so many different styles) The length appears to be the same. I verified the hubs lock, when you lock the hubs you cannot spin the yoke on the front axle. Also checked the transfer case to insure operational.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I'm selling this truck and going to trade my other vehicle in to purchase a new one. Other than that, I would not be selling it. It is a daily driver for me so the miles will continue to increase until the auction ends. I like it better than my 2012 wrangler, it drives nicer.

Ford previews updated Police Interceptor Utility for Chicago debut
Tue, Feb 3 2015With more law enforcement agencies across the United States alone than we'd care to count (or ever encounter), selling police cars means big business for American automakers, with Ford, Chevy and Dodge competing to fill the motorpools of every police department, sheriff's office and government agency in the land. For its part, Ford offers the Taurus-based Police Interceptor sedan and the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility, and it's preparing to unveil a revised version of the latter at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show in the same city where it's built. Dearborn hasn't given us much to go on with this teaser, showing just a darkened front shot of the vehicle in question with its emergency lighting all aglow. But it's fairly clear that the Interceptor Utility has been given many of the same updates applied recently to the Explorer on which it's based. That starts with the revised sheet metal, but considering that the Interceptor Utility exclusively packs V6 power, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four that was one of the biggest updates to the civilian Explorer isn't likely to carry over. Ford does, however, promise that the revised Police Interceptor Utility will be "even better" than the model it replaces" and pack "more high-tech features." Related Video:
Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.
Weekly Recap: Ferrari, Ford and Porsche power up for Geneva
Sat, Feb 7 2015Monday was Groundhog Day. Tuesday, apparently, was Sports Car Day. The Ferrari 488 GTB, the Ford Focus RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4 all debuted within hours of each other ahead of their rollouts at the Geneva Motor Show. Three sporty machines, three vastly different approaches – and a lot of implications for enthusiasts. That's a day worth repeating. It also illustrates the opportunities automakers see in the performance market, which is expected to grow in the coming years. Ford estimates the segment has expanded 14 percent in Europe and surged 70 percent in North America since 2009. The Detroit Auto Show was evidence of this, and performance cars of every stripe debuted, including the Acura NSX, Ford GT, Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and several others. This isn't a fad. Performance cars aren't going away. The question is why? Stricter CAFE standards are looming in the United States, as are tighter emissions regulations in Europe. And no one expects gas prices to remain low in America. None of this matters for sports cars, and automakers are increasingly using them to elevate their images. That's why Dodge rolled out two 707-horsepower Hellcats last year. It's why Ford has decided to resurrect the GT for road and track. It's why in the depths of bankruptcy, General Motors continued work on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, not to mention the Z06. "Great brands are made one car at a time," Ford of Europe president Jim Farley said at the reveal of the Focus RS. Still, companies make those cars for different reasons. View 5 Photos Mainstream brands like Ford and Dodge want to build cars that get people talking, excite their bases and drive more potential customers into the showroom. They probably don't buy a Focus RS or a Hellcat, but suddenly the regular Focus hatch looks a bit hotter, and that V6 Charger seems to be just a touch more muscular. The halo of performance is alive and well in the eyes of automakers and their customers. "It's one of the most effective catalysts for ingenuity and innovation," said Joe Bakaj, vice president of product development for Ford of Europe. That also leads to a trickle-down effect. Some of the technologies inevitably make their way to other products. It's hard to think the new all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS that distributes torque front to rear and side to side won't be used in other vehicles. It's different for Ferrari and Porsche.
