You will find a complete and detailed description of this F-250 in the following blocks. I will do my best to describe everything in detail, but if there is ANYTHING that you would like a deeper description of…please call prior to bidding.
Engine:
The Diesel engine starts and runs like new. No smoke at startup, or any hesitation throughout acceleration. The turbo works properly and provides assist as it should. It does not burn oil. I found zero issues with the engine and power levels. It does leave a drop of oil on the driveway when parked overnight about the size penny.

Driveability:
Drives Great. Steering is tight with any wheel or tire vibrations. Alignment is spot on and the tires are wearing evenly. No suspension noises what so ever. My business partner has been using the truck as his personal driver and has driven to North Caroline on a bi-weekly basis without any issue. He is confident that anyone that flies in to purchase can drive it back to their home state with confidence.

Transmission:
The 6-Speed Manual Transmission allows easy movement through each gear and the gear selector guides all seem to be in great working order. No grinding or resistance. No noises or issues found here either. The clutch is very firm and smooth. It does engage and release just as new.

4 Wheel Drive System:
The 4 Wheel Drive System works perfectly. Engages properly and the hubs turn properly and smoothly.

Power Options and Accessories:
-Equipped with Power Windows/Locks. Every power window works properly. The power locks are starting to fail and need to be operated manually.
-The CD Player works and allows for loading and ejecting as new.

Aftermarket Modifications and Maintenance Items:
1) New Drag link (Both bars)
2) Both Steering Stabilizers (Dual Setup)
3) 4 New Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks (Aluminum Bodied)
4) Edge Evolution Programmer with Electronic readouts (including EGT) (Fuel Economy is very near, if not exactly, 20 MPG)
5) 4” Cat Back exhaust system (MagnaFlow) with 5” tip
6) Hide away 5th wheel hitch
7) 2” lift (add a leaf)
8) New Water Pump
9) New Serpentine Belt
10) New Battery
11) New Air Filter
12) New Alternator

Tires:
The Front and Rear tires match and are Cooper Discoverer R/T3 LT315/75/R16s (35” by 12.5 inch). The tires have about 85% tread depth remaining. Mounted on aftermarket wheels – Eagle alloy 16 x 10. You will find photos of each tire in the additional photos to judge the remaining life.

Exterior:
The paint on the exterior is overall in good condition. Glossy and shiny. The only flaws on the exterior are as follow: (Keep in mind I am being extremely picky and the truck looks great overall in person)
1) 3 Minor dents on the front bumper – all can be seen in the photos
2) The Right front fender and a small bend where the front bumper is closest to – Can be seen in photo.
3) The paint on the hood is starting to “check” or have hairline cracks over the entire hood – can not be seen from outside of 4 feet on distance.
4) The right bedside has about a 5” touchup in front of the wheel.
5) Tailgate has been repainted and is in great condition.
6) The left bedside has a series of 5 touchups grouped together none of which over 4 inches in length.
7) The hood has a sharp dent about 4 inches in length near the passanger side windshield – difficult to see in photos, but is visible.

Interior:
The interior is good condition. No major issues. Take a look at the photos for a good idea for the current condition.

History Report:
This Ford F250 has a clean title. Please send a message via eBay with your email address and I will respond to your inbox with the report. It is a 4 owner Truck. Zero rust found.

If you are the high bidder and pick up the car in person and feel I misled you in ANY way I will simply cancel the sale. I want to conduct the sale as honestly as possible and want the purchaser to feel confident when bidding. If you decide to have the car shipped, I request that you have the F-250 independently inspected prior to the pick-up date. Once the F-250 leaves via truck the sale is final and no refunds will be issued.

Florida Buyers Only:
As a licensed car dealer in the state of Florida I am required to collect sales tax on your purchase. If you are not sure of your county’s rate, please call and I will discuss the sales tax rates with you. The sales tax will be in addition to your bid amount.

If you have ANY questions….call prior to bidding. Once you bid I do not reverse or cancel your bid. I ask that all bidders be serious about the purchase. I do not want someone running the bid amount up and afterward decide this car is not for them or they bought a different unit on eBay or elsewhere. If you are not sure if this car is for you do not bid. I want to ensure the high bidder will follow through and no second chance offer will be needed.

Recharge Wrap-up: California breaks ground on high-speed rail, Ford launches global mobility experiments

Wed, Jan 7 2015

California has celebrated the groundbreaking of the country's first high-speed rail system. The ceremony took place in Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley, situated along the line's initial route through California's Central Valley. The train will travel at speeds of up to 220 miles per hour, delivering passengers from San Francisco to LA in less than three hours when finished by 2029. California eventually plans to extend high-speed rail service north to Sacramento and south to San Diego, with a total of 24 stations. The project is expected to cost a total of $68 billion, but could potentially ease road and air traffic, as well as the pollution that comes with it. See the groundbreaking ceremony in the video below, and read more at Engadget or the California High-Speed Rail Authority website. Elon Musk (barely) commented on the Tesla Model 3 during his Reddit AMA. A commenter asked for any new information on the upcoming electric sedan, to which Musk merely replied, "It won't look like other cars." Unfortunately for Tesla fans, the lone comment was the only reference to the electric automaker Musk leads as CEO. The event was full of some really cool space talk, though. Musk also noted he gets an average of six hours of sleep per night, and that showering is the daily habit that impacts his life the most positively. Read the entire AMA at Reddit. Ford outlined its Smart Mobility Plan at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It includes 25 global mobility experiments designed to provide insights into the future of transportation needs around the world. "We see a world where vehicles talk to one another, drivers and vehicles communicate with the city infrastructure to relieve congestion, and people routinely share vehicles or multiple forms of transportation for their daily commute," says Ford President and CEO Mark Fields. The mobility experiments include carsharing programs in Michigan, London, Germany and India, a fast-charging infrastructure experiment, a shuttle service in New York and London and even a cycling focused data program in Palo Alto. "Our priority is not in making marketing claims or being in a race for the first autonomous car on the road," Fields said. "Our priority is in making the first Ford autonomous vehicle accessible to the masses and truly enhancing customers' lives.

2016: The year of the autonomous-car promise

Mon, Jan 2 2017

About half of the news we covered this year related in some way to The Great Autonomous Future, or at least it seemed that way. If you listen to automakers, by 2020 everyone will be driving (riding?) around in self-driving cars. But what will they look like, how will we make the transition from driven to driverless, and how will laws and infrastructure adapt? We got very few answers to those questions, and instead were handed big promises, vague timelines, and a dose of misdirection by automakers. There has been a lot of talk, but we still don't know that much about these proposed vehicles, which are at least three years off. That's half a development cycle in this industry. We generally only start to get an idea of what a company will build about two years before it goes on sale. So instead of concrete information about autonomous cars, 2016 has brought us a lot of promises, many in the form of concept cars. They have popped up from just about every automaker accompanied by the CEO's pledge to deliver a Level 4 autonomous, all-electric model (usually a crossover) in a few years. It's very easy to say that a static design study sitting on a stage will be able to drive itself while projecting a movie on the windshield, but it's another thing entirely to make good on that promise. With a few exceptions, 2016 has been stuck in the promising stage. It's a strange thing, really; automakers are famous for responding with "we don't discuss future product" whenever we ask about models or variants known to be in the pipeline, yet when it comes to self-driving electric wondermobiles, companies have been falling all over themselves to let us know that theirs is coming soon, it'll be oh so great, and, hey, that makes them a mobility company now, not just an automaker. A lot of this is posturing and marketing, showing the public, shareholders, and the rest of the industry that "we're making one, too, we swear!" It has set off a domino effect – once a few companies make the guarantee, the rest feel forced to throw out a grandiose yet vague plan for an unknown future. And indeed there are usually scant details to go along with such announcements – an imprecise mileage estimate here, or a far-off, percentage-based goal there. Instead of useful discussion of future product, we get demonstrations of test mules, announcements of big R&D budgets and new test centers they'll fund, those futuristic concept cars, and, yeah, more promises.

Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.
