1997 ford f250 powerstroke diesel 250k 2wd manual (5 speed) this truck came from new mexico 6 months ago I bought it off the guy who drove it here and then I broke down he took it to ford dealer and spent $3,200 trying to get it running (have receipts) they threw parts at it and couldn't get it running new parts all sensors, high pressure oil pump, fuel bowl, computer, and countless other parts. Then he took it to a diesel shop and they put 2 injectors in it I bought it and put a new used idm (injector control moduals) I have been driving it for 2 weeks when you first start it up it smokes after a few minutes driving it clears up my option it could used the injectors rebuild (rosewood diesel does it for 500 ) if you want. It does idle a little ruff smoother right out soon as u hit the gas like I said injectors. Has some blow by but it does have 250k. All in all it runs out good the body is 100% rust free has a few dents. 2015 Ford F-150 named Truck of Texas, Lincoln and Jeep also awarded at Truck Rodeo
Tue, 14 Oct 2014The Ford Motor Company has a lot of reasons to celebrate after winning eight categories in this year's Texas Auto Writers Association's annual Truck Rodeo. Most important among them, the Blue Oval's latest 2015 Ford F-150 earned the prestigious Truck of Texas award, ending the Ram 1500's two-year winning streak. The 2015 Lincoln MKC also grabbed the honor as the CUV of Texas, and Ford was named Truck Line of Texas.
FoMoCo even took trophies for best technology with its extensive use of aluminum on its latest F-Series and best commercial vehicle for the new Transit 250. It wasn't a total sweep, though, because the Jeep Grand Cherokee grabbed the title of the SUV of Texas for the fifth straight time.
This year's event put 60 auto writers in 75 pickups, SUVs and crossovers and challenged them to find the best in a plethora of categories. All of the winners are listed below, and scroll down to read the full announcements from the Texas Auto Writers Association and Ford.

Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
