Vehicle not needed any more. I have had this truck for almost 20 years. I only use it for hauling items to the dump. It has lumber rack. Heater is bypassed. Core needs replaced. Starts right up and drives. Tags Expired. Trip permit is needed. Has some surface rust and could use some TLC. Speedometer doesn't work and needs new speedo cable. Tach works fine. Dual fuel tanks. Electric trailer brake & removable 5th wheel hitch in bed included. Bumper mount hitch no tow package. Can be installed very cheap. 4 wheel Drive works fine. Locking hubs, and four speed work fine. 1st gear in a "granny gear" for take offs with load. Truck has the HD rear end. One tone rear axle? "Full Floater?" Truck is basically stock. Bench seat is in good condition. First four photos are a few years old. hood now has surface rust and the typical 80's paint job issue of paint flaking off. I am not hiding any issues with this truck. It is sold as is and has No warranty. Please feel free to as questions call 541-391-3805 9am-8pm PST. Bill of Sale/Clear Title just lost. Will go with you to the DMV if you have any fear of not having clear title. Local Pick Up Only.

Only issues I am aware of.

1. Heater core is bypassed need replaced.
2. Speedo Cable bad needs replaced.
3. Cracks in dash pad
4. Surface rust common on 80's vehicles
5. Minor damage behind front bumper
6. Minor damage rear bumper
7. Unsure of exact mileage. Truck has been driven maybe once a month for the last ten years.

Truck Sold as Is. No Warranty. Mileage is listed as 200,000 this is not correct. It is way less than that but speedo has not worked for a long time. Truck has had less than 5000 miles put on it in the last 10 years.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.

Ford names Lincoln chief as North American president following Nair's departure

Thu, Feb 22 2018

Ford announced yesterday that its North American president Raj Nair would no longer be working for the company due to "inappropriate behavior." As a result, the company needed fill that gaping vacancy. The new North American president and Ford Group vice president will be Kumar Galhotra, and his term in the new role will start on March 1. Galhotra will remain the group vice president and chief marketing officer for Lincoln through March, meaning he's the head of the luxury brand. He's had this position since 2014. Before that, he was vice president of engineering for all of Ford. With Galhotra's promotion, a number of internal promotions follow. Joy Falotico, current chairman, CEO and group vice president of Ford's credit division will fill Galhotra's position, and Dave McClelland, vice president of marketing for Ford Asia Pacific, will fill her role. Other shuffling at Ford includes Stewart Rawley's promotion to vice president for Ford North America and chief operating officer. He is the current vice president for strategy at Ford. Ford China's chairman and CEO John Lawler will take Rawley's old role, and Cathy O'Callaghan will take over Lawler's job at Ford China, but not until June 1. O'Callaghan is currently vice president, corporate controller and chief financial officer for global markets at Ford. Related Video:

2015 Ford F-150 to get up to 26 miles per gallon

Fri, Nov 21 2014

The 2015 Ford F-150 is one of the most important US vehicle debuts in years, be it in the pickup segment or the entire marketplace. While we've already known about the truck's engine lineup, its payload ratings and we've even learned a bit about how it drives, the truck's EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings have remained a mystery. The wait is finally over. Ford has announced numbers that put the latest F-150 as the mileage leader among gasoline-powered, full-size pickups in the US, with its new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 topping the charts. Starting with the entry-level naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6, the rear-wheel-drive F-150 is rated at 18-miles-per-gallon city, 25-mpg highway and 20-mpg combined. Opting for four-wheel drive drops those numbers slightly to 17/23/19. If fuel economy is your absolute priority, then upgrading to the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 is the hot ticket. It improves things further to 19/26/22 in rear-wheel drive trim or 18/23/20 with four-wheel drive. The carryover naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 is rated at 15/22/18 as a 4X2 or 15/21/17 as a 4X4. Finally, the flagship 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 tops the range in available torque and offers buyers 17/24/20 ratings with rear-wheel drive or 17/23/19 with four-wheel drive. "We are delivering with the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 ever – and now the highest EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of any full-size gas-powered pickup in America," said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development, in the company's announcement. Depending on engine and drivetrain configuration, Ford contends that the 2.7-liter EcoBoost's top rating puts fuel economy up between 5 and 29 percent over the current generation, thanks in large part to the truck's lighter aluminum construction. Obviously, these are EPA estimates, and your mileage may vary – ours has. Recently, Autoblog team members have had real difficulty even approximating government mpg estimates on many EcoBoost models, including the new F-150. Scroll down to read Ford's full announcement, including comparisons to rival models.
