Super Nice Original 1978 F250 Ranger Long Bed 2 WD, 300 CID 6 cylinder, 4 speed manual. AM/FM, Power Steering.

Glass is perfect, no chips or cracks. Everything works on the truck just as it should.

I bought this truck from an estate. The daughter of the deceased owner stated it was the only new vehicle her father ever bought, the condition shows the care and attention he gave it. On the dash it has the original plate from Ford stating the truck was custom built for the owner. I have the original order form from the Spokane dealer he ordered it from and original owners manual. I don't think there has ever been a cigarette in the cab, the ash tray looks like it has that new dull galvanized finish, I took these photos the day I brought it home. 4 nearly new matching tires, they have about 1000 miles on them.

The fuel pump was leaking when I bought it so I took it to my shop, had them replace the fuel pump, make a minor adjustment to the clutch and generally look the truck over.

If you would like to have the truck inspected by any shop in the Moscow/Pullman area please make arrangement's with them and I will deliver it for inspection. Most shops in this area charge $70 - $85 an hour so it would not be expensive to get an unbiased opinion of the truck. I also welcome a personal visit to look the truck over. Please call me at 5O9 338-5397 to make arrangements.

It has always been a Pullman truck, no salt used here so other than two very minor spots on the right side displayed in the photos and a couple spots on the chrome bumper rear. I pulled the seat cover back in a couple of photos, other than some cracks in the side of the drivers side it looks like it has been covered since new. Floor mat had some cracks, has been repaired using some rubber or epoxy cement.

All in all a super nice 35 year old truck that will serve you well as a work truck or a collectible. These trucks are becoming more valuable every year.

It will come with a clear and clean Idaho Title in my name!

Please watch a Youtube Video of the truck at. http://youtu.be/ukAmxZViwZo   You may need to copy and paste the link.

Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Ford bringing adaptive steering to the masses [w/video]

Thu, 29 May 2014

Within the next year, Ford will offer a brand-new adaptive steering system (unimaginatively dubbed "Ford Adaptive Steering"), and this week, the automaker invited us out to its proving grounds in Dearborn, MI to get a taste for how its new setup works. In function, Ford's system doesn't greatly differ from the majority of other adaptive steering units already on the market from companies like Audi or BMW, but consider this: Ford will be the first non-luxury automaker to offer this technology, and uniquely, the whole system fits inside the car's steering wheel.
Ford's engineers have worked hard to create a system that can be tacked on to the company's full lineup of cars, trucks and utility vehicles, and says that the adaptive steering will be uniquely tuned for each specific vehicle. The automaker will not confirm exactly which vehicle will launch with this technology, but for the purpose of our preview, we tested the technology in a 2014 Fusion - a vehicle with already-good behind-the-wheel feel, one that the company says best demonstrates its current steering efforts.

Ford Fiesta rally car warms up in Sweden

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

Rallycross is seeing a sudden surge in popularity with two series bringing the racing to the US and Europe. The Ford OMSE team is competing in both championships this season, and it saw no reason not to hold practice with a highly modified Fiesta in the snow of Northern Sweden. It brought together Andreas Bakkerud from the European-focused FIA World Rallycross Championship and Patrik Sandell from the North American-focused Global Rallycross series for some training and fun. They certainly appear to be enjoying themselves, too, with some lovely pirouettes in the powder.
If you're unfamiliar with rallycross, the discipline combines the best of rallying and circuit racing. Drivers (with no co-drivers) race rally cars over a circuit that generally mixes dirt and asphalt, and unlike traditional rallying, multiple cars compete side-by-side at once. Even better, it's often a very two-fisted form of motorsports with lots of car-to-car contact. Global Rallycross and World Rallycross will both kick off their seasons in May. With spring on the way, scroll down to watch the Fiesta kick up some of the last snow drifts of the year.
