This is a 1976 Ford F-250 Ranger supercab with a longbed. V-8, 7.5L, 460
I was going to restore this truck but life got in the way, my loss is your gain here are the pros and cons.
Pros: Clean AZ title
Just passed emissions
starts and runs
2 gas tanks
New alternator
Tires and rims look good (pictured)
No major dents
124K miles
rear sliding window
trailer hitch
There's lots of custom electrical (interior lights, running board lights, etc.) but I honestly don't know how they work, I just know it doesn't effect your ability to work on the engine.
Don't let the 2WD fool you, this truck still has LOTS of power
Cons:
Small patch of rust near rear bumper (pictured)
Crack in windshield (pictured)
Rip in driver upholstery (pictured)
Needs a new rear view mirror
The truck runs and drives but I am still selling as-is. I've listed and pictured all the defects I can think of but please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Ford to pay $17.35 million over Escape recall
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Ford had a bit of a recall spree around this time last year, with a pair of issues on the then-new 2013 Escape, followed by a recall of 423,000 2001 to 2004 Escapes because they might accelerate of their own accord. Accordingly, Uncle Sam pasted Ford with a $17.35 million fine because it took too long to inform customers, according to a report from Automotive News.
Ford agreed to settle with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, accepting the fine but not admitting fault. The recall, which afflicted Escapes with the 3.0-liter V-6 along with 217,000 Mazda Tributes from 2001 to 2006 and 2008, was due to faulty gas pedals that could stay down after a driver removed their foot.
Ford issued a statement regarding the fine, saying, "We take the safety of our customers seriously and continuously evaluate our processes for improvements. While we are confident in our current processes for quickly identifying and addressing potential vehicle issues, Ford agreed to this settlement to avoid a lengthy dispute with the government."
Ford only automaker to make 2012 Buzz Rankings, Toyota most improved
Wed, 30 Jan 2013Ford landed itself a spot among the top 10 brands in the 2012 Buzz Rankings. The annual index scores 1,100 brands in 41 categories to determine which nameplates had the most positive buzz throughout the year.
For the third year in a row, Subway took the top honors overall with a score of 40.3, and Ford was the only automaker to break into the top 25 by earning a sixth-place finish overall. The manufacturer earned a score of 32.1 points, which was enough to push it up one spot from the 2011 Buzz Rankings. Honda managed 21.2 points overall, which is still well behind 25th-place Kohl's at 26.5 points. Toyota, Volkswagen and BMW all round out the top five automakers.
The 2012 Buzz Rankings also keep track of which brands improved the most over the past year, and this year, Toyota was the manufacturer with the largest leap forward. The Japanese automaker jumped from just 14 points in 2011 to 20.5 in 2012. Chrysler, Kia, Dodge and Volkswagen all saw sizable steps forward as well.
