1974 For F250 truck locally owned since before 1989...not fully restored but been in the family for years. Factory 460 ci engine has been rebuilt and installed with mild cam and should be over 500ci. This truck was left to my wife alonmg with 4 other tucks when her brother passed away in 1999. I refused to give it away but kept it on our property.
About 1500 miles on rebuilt engine mainly around the neighborhood to keep the fluids sound. First things done years ago were brand new tires and wheels, new windshield, dual flow master muffler system which sounds like you would expect, loud but beautiful, ...and just his year, new quadjajet 4bl carb, new coil, plugs, plug wires, electric fuel pump, and master cylinder for brakes. probably forgot some things here and ther
basic facts. been in the family for a long time, have chrome parts for outide of the truck
original owner installed trailer brakes to pull a Holiday Rambler to Galveston behind this truck
all original interior and sheet metal.
clear title, fan, heating, ac not working, front brakes need bleeding, dash is cracked which I have covered,
but this classic F250 is still a working truck in good running condition
By the way, look for trucks in this category and see what you will find
this is absoulutely the best UNRESTORED Ford F250 you will ever find I think in Dallas
more pictures added of truck
truck can be shown to interested buyers at some time or another. I still work for a living.. do the ask seller a question..took off my pnone number because it was driving me crazy with questions
got a guy across the street that wants this Ford but so far he doesn't have the funds to own it
I think this is a very reasonable price because in the last few months I have put about a thousand in the engine area and the wheels and tires are almost new...800 in those
will add updatres later on this Ford

Ford Mustang GT350 drops some camo
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Now that we've poured over the 2015 Ford Mustang in its standard form, it's time to look ahead. We already knew (and heard - literally) that Ford was working on a higher-performance version of its 'Stang to replace the Shelby GT500, and earlier reports have stated that it will simply be called the GT350.
We don't have a ton of detail to go on, but this latest set of spy photos clearly shows a hood-mounted air scoop, which suggests a forced-induction powerplant is under the hood. However, this disagrees with earlier reports that the GT350 will be all motor, using a naturally aspirated engine to send massive horsepower to the rear wheels. Our spies also point out the functional vent aft of the front wheels to allow for better airflow, and the massive quad exhaust pipes can be seen, clear as day.
Expect to see the Mustang GT350 in April, when it debuts at the New York Auto Show in conjunction with the Pony's 50th anniversary. In the meantime, have a look at our gallery above to see the latest shots of the hot Mustang out testing.
Reflecting on the Ford GT on its 10-year anniversary
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Ten years ago, during the bright-eyed enthusiasm of the early 2000s and before the collective automotive industry did its best Titanic impression, we had the Ford GT. An everyman's supercar like there'd never been (remember, this was before 638-horsepower Corvettes were a thing), the GT arrived with a supercharged, 5.4-liter V8 that produced 550 horsepower and graced this retro-styled rocket with an easy, sub-four-second sprint to 60 miles per hour.
Equal to the GT's performance were its looks. Inspired by the GT40 racers that dominated Le Mans and bested Ferrari in the 1960s, the sleek, low, almost-reptilian look of the GT was the absolute pinnacle of the retro styling that so defined the early 2000s.
Crank and Piston put together a video celebrating the ten-year-old GT, arguing that Ford is a bit too busy with the next-gen Mustang, which turns 50 next week, to do it themselves. In the short clip, there is gratuitous engine noise and supercharger whine, not to mention scenes of the white-on-red GT prowling the deserts and streets of Dubai. It's a bit short, but very nicely shot. Scroll down, have a look and be sure to turn up those speakers before getting started.
Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.
