For your consideration, a 1962 ford Unibody truck with the V8 and the 4 speed. Ford attempted to attach the tuck bed to the cab in 61 and 62 and unfortunately it created body flex problems for people using the truck for hauling loads, which is generally why people get a truck to begin with. The trucks looked great, but soon truck buyers were aware of the problem and it was discontinued in 1963 to return to a separate bed. Unibody ford trucks have become quite sought after as they look great and they are still strong enough for most purposes.
This truck was a rust free Colorado truck in Pueblo. In fact, it was in such nice condition that it was hard not to completely repaint and detail the undercarriage. The miles are unknown, but the engine starts instantly and has full compression, it is the original 292 Y block. We pulled the engine to detail it and it didn't even have a leak. The 4 speed shifts perfect and we detailed it. The interesting thing about this truck is being an F250, 3/4 ton. Most survivors are more likely to be the F100 driven more as a car than used as a full work vehicle. Hauling heavy loads could bend the cab but this one was quite straight. We did put in new kingpins and they need to break in, but the truck is ready for show or go. The drive train is very sound, an overhaul just was not justified. It has new paint, new glass, new seals, complete detail and everything kept as original except for the bed liner. There were a few bumps and bed liner just made sense. This is a very interesting truck and quite original. It's a solid base to build a modified but the originality makes it a great show truck. Even has the original tailgate. It's also street legal but advisable to trailer it if you are an out of state buyer.
Partial delivery can be arranged for states adjacent to Colorado at a nominal fee. It is also available to test drive in the Denver area. The truck would really look sharp at a farm or any nostalgia business. I'm a 100% seller and sold quite a few western cars with rave reviews. I do require a $500.00 paypal deposit. Paypal weeds out the scammers and it protects you if the item is not as described. I can work with you on some transportation out of Denver at reasonable rates.

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
Ford dissects the heart of the 2015 Mustang, its engine range
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Happy Mustang Day. Are you tired of hearing about the 2015 Ford Mustang yet? No? Good, here's a bunch of mechanical data on Ford's sixth-gen muscle car, along with cutaways of the GT's 5.0-liter V8 and the new 2.3-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder shown above. We also have a smattering of info on the Stang's updated transmissions and an exploded-parts-diagram view of its all-new independent rear suspension.
Ford is set to make waves offering the Mustang with a turbo for the firs time since the small-volume SVO of the 1980s. Displacing 2.3 liters, the engine's twin-scroll turbo should help the four-cylinder turn out a projected 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, while also returning the best fuel economy in the Mustang's engine lineup. As we said in our Deep Dive, the EcoBoost will be slotted in as a premium engine, above the 3.7-liter V6 but below the 5.0-liter V8.
Speaking of that high-revving eight-cylinder, it's receiving a new cylinder head with high-flow ports. The intake and exhaust valves are larger and the cams have been replaced, among other tweaks. It should rev even higher thanks to a rebalanced crankshaft and forged connecting rods. Ford is still claiming a projected 420 hp and 390 lb-ft, although as many of the changes for the 2015's V8 come from the 2013 Boss 302, we're going to assume there's some sandbagging at work.
