This is a one owner truck that has been maintained. It is a full size bed ( long bed). The tires are just over a year old with approximately 7000 miles on them. An Ipod player has been hard wired in the stereo sound system. The rear window is a slider. The  AC works as good as the day it left the factory.
The alternator was replaced in January of 2012. The fuel pump was replaced this past November of 2012. The battery is about a year old. The water pump was also replaced in the summer of 2009.
As far as the engine, transmission and differential, the drive train is in near excellent condition. There are no fluid leaks and the motor burns no oil. I took the truck to CarMax. The inspection came back good with the exception of the body rust spots and where the paint is chipped on the hood and fender. Everything else, mechanically, was a green check mark.
The interior is in good condition other than by the driver's seat from where I enter and exit. The wear is visible in one or more of the interior pictures.
There are things on the truck that could use some attention but nothing that will affect the dependability of its running performance. The light on the odometer will occasionally go out but come back on. It's a short in the light but doesn't affect the odometer being accurate. The turn signals will not automatically go off when you complete a turn. They work but you have to flip the turn signal handle up or down to turn them off. The truck has automatic door locks but the passenger side automatic lock doesn't work. My guess is they may just need some type of adjustment.
There is some rust starting on the rear door of the driver's side and a spot on the bed. There is paint chipping on the fender and hood. You can see both of these spots clearly in the pictures I posted.
To sum this up, the truck is about 14 years old and as I stated isn't in perfect condition but the drive train is close to excellent.  It has been very dependable transportation for me. The truck has never been used for commercial purposes, so it has had a pretty easy life. Please feel free to call or e mail with any questions you may have.  This truck has never been smoked in.

I just had the oil changed, a new air filter installed, tires balanced and rotated. It's good to go!
If the truck doesn't sell in auction I will consider best offers.

Woman reunited with stolen Mustang after 28 years

Sun, Dec 28 2014

An enthusiast Christmas story: Salinas, California resident Lynda Alsip bought a 1967 Ford Mustang in 1984 when she was 17 years old, having saved $800 after a summer of toil at a grocery store. She got a vanity plate that read "LYNDA67," for the year she was born, but she only got to enjoy the car for two years: in 1986, after a night out, someone stole it from her apartment complex. She hadn't seen it since. Then a man – another Salinas resident – tried to register the car at the DMV this year. He said he bought it as a project car in 1991, yet the DMV couldn't find any record of it. The DMV office sent the case of the untraceable car to the California Highway Patrol, where Officer Christopher Menchen dug into the records, and his search paid off. The officer located Alsip's stolen record report from 1986 and connected the Mustang to it's registered owner in 1986, who was Alsip's mother. The CHP found the forest green Mustang in the man's garage, and they figure it's been there since 1991. After waiting through the still-ongoing three-month investigation, the CHP reunited Alsip – now a wife and a mother of two – with her car on December 22. It's undriveable, but her original vanity plate is back on and she plans to restore it. The video above has the story. Evo grabs Ford's Fiesta R5 rally car by the scruff

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

Evo and host Henry Catchpole were thinking of excuses reasons to borrow the bonkers Ford Fiesta R5 rally car for a day or two, when it struck them: the car is street legal. With access to the R5, some of the world's most beautiful driving roads in the English Lake Country nearby, and a handy video crewing hanging around, the plan seemed to write itself.
Based on the resulting video, it was a good plan. Without spoiling the video for you - something we can't really do in text as the best part is listening to the rally car run - Catchpole finds the Fiesta to be sublimely quick and massively satisfying. Even taking the car for a spin on a pseudo rally stage, after leaving the English countryside, does nothing but add to his assessment of the beastly little Ford. Scroll on below to see for yourself, and enjoy the ride.

Ford faces class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles without brake override systems

Fri, 29 Mar 2013

A total of 20 Ford customers are suing the automaker in a class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles "vulnerable to unintended acceleration." According to Reuters, the suit names 30 models built between 2002 and 2010 with electronic throttle control systems but without a brake override system. Those include the 2004-2012 F-Series pickups and the 2005-2009 Lincoln Town Car. Adam Levitt, a partner with the law firm of Grant & Eisenhofer says the plaintiffs in the case want "to be compensated for their economic losses by having overpaid for cars that contained defects." Levitt contends that the plaintiffs would not have bought their vehicles or paid less for them had they known there was no brake override system in place.
Ford began installing brake override systems in its vehicles beginning in 2010. In response to the lawsuit, Ford has pointed to research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that indicated that unintended acceleration is mostly caused by driver error, saying in a statement that, "NHTSA's work is far more scientific and trustworthy than work done by personal injury lawyers and their paid experts."
Belville et al v. Ford Motor Co. will be heard in US District Court in the Southern District of West Virginia.
