This is a one owner truck that has been maintained. It is a full size bed ( long bed). The tires are just over a year old with approximately 7000 miles on them. An Ipod player has been hard wired in the stereo sound system. The rear window is a slider. The  AC works as good as the day it left the factory.
The alternator was replaced in January of 2012. The fuel pump was replaced this past November of 2012. The battery is about a year old. The water pump was also replaced in the summer of 2009.
As far as the engine, transmission and differential, the drive train is in near excellent condition. There are no fluid leaks and the motor burns no oil. I took the truck to CarMax. The inspection came back good with the exception of the body rust spots and where the paint is chipped on the hood and fender. Everything else, mechanically, was a green check mark.
The interior is in good condition other than by the driver's seat from where I enter and exit. The wear is visible in one or more of the interior pictures.
There are things on the truck that could use some attention but nothing that will affect the dependability of its running performance. The light on the odometer will occasionally go out but come back on. It's a short in the light but doesn't affect the odometer being accurate. The turn signals will not automatically go off when you complete a turn. They work but you have to flip the turn signal handle up or down to turn them off. The truck has automatic door locks but the passenger side automatic lock doesn't work. My guess is they may just need some type of adjustment.
There is some rust starting on the rear door of the driver's side and a spot on the bed. There is paint chipping on the fender and hood. You can see both of these spots clearly in the pictures I posted.
To sum this up, the truck is about 14 years old and as I stated isn't in perfect condition but the drive train is close to excellent.  It has been very dependable transportation for me. The truck has never been used for commercial purposes, so it has had a pretty easy life. Please feel free to call or e mail with any questions you may have.  This truck has never been smoked in.

I just had the oil changed, a new air filter installed, tires balanced and rotated. It's good to go!
If the truck doesn't sell in auction I will consider best offers.

A tribute to William Clay Ford

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
Take a look below for this touching memorial video on William Clay Ford.

Bill Ford wins National Pond Hockey Championship with employees

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

Who says executives aren't people? This past weekend, Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, and a group of employees trekked up to Eagle River, WI for a few games of pond hockey. Team Ford took part in the 2014 Labatt Blue/USA Pond Hockey Championship, capturing its fifth title in the 50+ Tier 1 Division.
"It feels great to win," Ford, who plays on the team alongside other Ford employees, told the USA Hockey website. "It was fun to play [River Valley Pioneers] because they're great guys and we play them every year. We finally beat them, which we were due. It was a very clean game, a tough game."
The FoMoCo team managed to score seven goals to River Valley's two, and went undefeated in all five of its games during the tourney. Take a look below for the official press release on Team Ford's win.

Bask in Ford truck history with this website [UPDATE]

Mon, Sep 21 2015

UPDATE: A typo originally referred to the F-100 in 1948, rather than the F-1. It has been corrected. In celebration of the venerable F-Series, Ford has put together an interactive website digging into the model's history, dating back to the F-100 F-1 in 1948. While the video above just takes you through the looks of the various generations of Ford's pickups, you need to check out the website to get the full experience. Each major model change is accompanied by a small blurb of descriptive text. As a real highlight for fans of auto history, high-res vintage advertising and photographs also come with each one. The Blue Oval wants to get truck fans involved, as well. At the bottom of the page, owners can share a shot of their F-150, and Ford is showing a few of them online. If you have some free time during the day to bone up on your F-Series history, the page is definitely worth a visit. Related Video:
