Ford F-150 Xlt Super Crew 4x4 New Engine From Ford With Warranty F150 Very Nice on 2040-cars

2004 F150 F-150
Very nice 4 door super crew XLT 5.4L, Auto, 4x4 Power windows and locks, A/C In dash DVD player with Backup Camera Ford Bedliner Running boards New tires - less than 2,000 miles on them Clean Carfax. This truck runs great. New engine installed at my local Ford dealer. The engine has a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty which is transferable to the next owner (approximately 2 1/2 years left on the warranty) and is good at ANY Ford dealer. Some might question my price but you're getting a low mileage truck with almost zero miles on the new engine and a 2 1/2 year warranty on the engine. That's almost what you get by spending $30,000 - $40,000 more on a new truck....that's quite a few dollars left in your pocket. While they were replacing the engine and were already in the engine compartment, I had them replace the exhaust manifolds, starter, and radiator too. There is a lot less labor involved when the engine is out of the way. Clean rocker panels and cab corners. One minor item, visible in the pictures above is that a small piece of plastic is missing from the honeycomb front grill. It does not affect anything and I do not notice it but I also do not hide items from potential buyers. It's a great buy on a clean used super crew with a new engine. I love driving it. It runs great. Only 131k miles on the rest of the truck...still young. For those that want the rest of the story.... I bought the truck last August. Shortly after purchasing it, a noise started out of the bottom end of the engine. It turned out that someone in the recent past had removed the oil pan and done some work to hide that the original engine had trouble (per both my mechanic and the Ford mechanics). Check out my seller ratings and you will see that I am not the kind of person that will stick someone else with a problem so I went the route of having the engine properly replaced by a Ford dealer. Our downstairs heating system went out and replacing that is a higher priority than keeping my truck (I know, I should get my priorities straight). At the moment, I cannot afford to both replace the HVAC system AND keep the truck, especially after all the money I put into it. I'll be taking a loss on the truck but still, it's money in the pocket to pay the other cost. Other than the transferable engine warranty, there are no other warranties. $500 deposit due within 24 hours. Balance due within 7 days. If you decide to have it shipped, I will make myself available for your shipper when they come to pick it up. On Feb-19-14 at 10:28:21 PST, seller added the following information: ** |

Ford driving Alaskan maniac rams toddler-carrying SUV
Mon, Jul 25 2016A couple from Anchorage had a frightening traffic encounter when they were followed and repeatedly rammed by a stranger in a pickup truck. Grace Bernert, her boyfriend, and his two-year-old daughter were returning home from a trip to downtown Anchorage when they noticed a blue, 2001 Ford F-150 following closely behind them. "The guy was so close, we couldn't see his headlights," Bernert told KTVA. Bernert, who was riding shotgun, pulled out her phone to record the truck when it struck the rear end of their Acura SUV. That's when she called 911. Bernert's boyfriend tried to lose the F-150 in the Sullivan Arena parking lot, then drove to a local Ford dealer's parking lot where he drove through a maze of new Ford pickups in an attempt to shake their assailant. "We started doing circles around the brand new Fords because we thought the truck wouldn't be able to turn as fast as we would," said Bernert. "We were right, but the guy didn't care. He just kept hitting the new fords and backing up, coming after us." The truck continued to follow them, ramming the Acura again and again. Bernert estimates that F-150 driver struck their SUV between five and seven times, and hit numerous new trucks in the dealership parking lot. Eventually, they ducked into a nearby neighborhood where they managed to lose the F-150 and called 911. Bernert told KTVA that she believes they were targeted but doesn't know why. "The guy was either some random sick person who didn't care, or somebody who knew us and didn't care there was a kid in the car," she said. Anchorage Police arrived shortly after the couple escaped the F-150 and filed a report about the incident. They are currently investigating. Recent Video:
2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.
Recharge Wrap-up: Ford announces e-bike project, Honda Accord Hybrid availability catches up
Thu, Mar 5 2015Supplies of the Honda Accord Hybrid have apparently caught up with demand. Honda originally launched the Accord Hybrid for the 2014 model year, but lack of availability plagued interested customers and eager dealers alike. Honda cited "component supply constraints" - likely batteries, electric motors and the like - for the lack of available vehicles. Now, "The supply of Accord Hybrids in general is in line with the supply of the regular Accord sedan," according to Honda's Angie Nucci. Read more at Green Car Reports. Apple is seeking a resolution to a lawsuit accusing the company of poaching employees from lithium-ion battery maker A123 Systems. A123 has requested a court order stopping a former employer from breaking an employment agreement, as well as keeping Apple from encouraging the person to do so. Apple has requested more time to respond to that court order. A123 has also filed a suit accusing five employees of breaking nondisclosure agreements and going or trying to go to work for Apple. Insiders say that Apple is developing an electric car that could go into production as early as 2020. Read more at Automotive News. The foldable MoDe:Me e-bike is for personal use and commuting, while the MoDe:Pro is built for commercial duty, with both powered by a 200-watt motor and 9-amp-hour battery. The bikes use an iPhone app called MoDe:Link, which provides various information and controls important bike functions. Through the app, the bikes offer navigation (with traffic data, available public transportation and charging locations included), with handlebar vibrations letting the rider know when and where to turn and automatically activating turn signals. The bike can sense and alert the rider to other vehicles on the roadway. Pedal assist is based on heart rate, allowing the rider to arrive at their destination comfortably.
