I am selling my 2005 F-150 King Ranch 4x4. This truck has just about every factory option available and a variety of aftermarket additions as well. The aftermarket upgrades include, a 6" rough country lift kit (installed about 5,000 miles ago), and 35" Federal Cougaria Mud Tires sitting on 20" XD Rockstar Wheels (I would guess the tires have a little over 8,000 miles on them and have around 75 -85 precent of tread left). The truck also has a toolbox, K and N air filter, CB radio, a week old double din touchscreen radio with many features, a brush guard, dual straightpipe exhaust with stainless tips, seat covers to protect the super nice king ranch leather, and several other things I am sure I have left out. Mechanically, the truck starts right up and runs smooth and does not seem to have any issues. It drives smooth and does not pull. I actually just took the truck on a 2,500 mile road trip through the mountains and it ran perfectly the entire time. Maintenance has been done religiously on this truck. I have the oil changed every 4-5,000 miles with full synthetic and get all of the fluids topped off several times between changes. About 10,000 miles ago I changed the spark plugs on the truck , which is a big deal on these 5.4 engines. The alignment on the vehicle is routinely checked and adjusted on this vehicle as well. I have detailed records the maintenance available upon request. The only issues with the truck are: 1. the tailgate is dented pretty good (I will be looking into gettig this fixed this week) 2. There is a small problem with the auto clutch of the transmission (I will be getting this fixed). That is it.

Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car
Mon, 24 Mar 2014There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.
2015 Ford Focus Electric hides in plain sight
Wed, 16 Apr 2014The styling changes to the 2015 Ford Focus were shown off at the recent Geneva Motor Show, so what the EV version looks like is not that much of a surprise. Still, the 2015 Focus Electric is making its world debut here at the New York Auto Show, so we wanted to know what changes we are looking at compared to both the internal combustion engine version and the earlier EV models.
The exterior visual distinctions between the ICE and EV are minimal, and basically nonexistent from the A-pillar to the rear. Up front, you can see the charge port, of course, but the front fascia has also undergone a bit of an adjustment. The front doesn't have the ICE version's flattened grille and the EV's Ford logo creates a bump in the hood line where none exists on the ICE. The 2015's grille is also different than the one on the 2014 Focus Electric, being slightly smaller (you can see this better if you compare pictures in our new gallery above to these of the 2011 Focus Electric and these of the gas-powered 2015 Focus).
The updated 2015 interior - which we couldn't access ourselves - has things like a new center stack, improved cupholders and is basically identical between the gas and electric models. With the car off, you can't even tell if you're in an EV or ICE, Seema Bardwaj, the US brand manager for the Focus, told AutoblogGreen. The only things that are different, she said, are extra menu screens to show EV powertrain information to the driver.
Ford unveils all-new 2016 F-650 and F-750 at NTEA
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Medium-duty work trucks might not be the most exciting vehicles, but they perform necessary jobs everyday. Ford is in the process of a complete refresh of its entire commercial vehicle lineup over the next 18 months, and it is debuting the all-new versions of its F-650 and F-750 trucks at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN.
"The all-new F-650/F-750 allow us to leverage our strengths and sales leadership in Classes 1 to 5 to create a better F-650/F-750 that's designed, engineered and built by Ford in the USA," said Ford spokesperson Mike Levine to Autoblog via email.
Huge amounts of torque is vital for trucks like these, and both models are offered with some of Fords biggest engines. Buyers can opt for either the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with TorqShift 6-speed automatic with available power takeoff or a gasoline-fueled 6.8-liter V10 with a 6-speed automatic. The V10 can also be ordered from the factory to be fueled by compressed natural gas or liquid propane gas.
