UP FOR CONSIDERATION IS A BEAUTIFUL, 201O, FORD, F150, SVT, RAPTOR. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE AND IT IS IN MINT CONDITION. THE PAINT STILL SHINES LIKE THE DAY IT LEFT THE SHOWROOM. I ORDERED THIS VEHICLE IN FEBRUARY, 2010 AND IT TOOK DELIVERY IN LATE APRIL. IT WAS BUILT IN EARLY APRIL, 2010.
I ORDERED THE VEHICLE WITH THE LUXURY PACKAGE, FACTORY NAVIGATION AND THE VERY SOUGHT AFTER 517A PACKAGE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN GARAGED SINCE THE DAY I BROUGHT IT HOME. IT ALSO HAS A TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER AND FORD FACTORY DROP IN BEDLINER.
THERE IS NOT A DING, DENT OR SCRATCH ON THIS RAPTOR.
THE RAPTOR HAS A 5.4 TRITON V/8 AND IS PLENTY POWERFUL ENOUGH. THE TIRES ARE STILL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND HAVE NEVER BEEN OFF ROAD. NEVER. AGAIN, THE FINISH ON THE TRUCK IS PRESTINE.
I INSTALLED BORLA CAT BACK EXHAUSTS ON THIS RAPTOR AND THEY SOUND GREAT. THEY ARE NOT OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD OR OVER THE TOP, JUST RIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY, WITH NO "CLUNKING" OR SLIPPING WHATSOEVER.
EVERYTHING ON THE TRUCK WORKS, NO ISSUES OR PROBLEMS. LAST MONTH, I PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE TRUCK THAT IS GOOD FOR BUMPER TO BUMPER COVERAGE UP TO 44,000 MILES. THIS WARRANTY IS TRANSFERABLE.
WHEN A CAR FAX OR HISTORY IS DONE ON THE TRUCK, IT WILL SHOW AN ACCIDENT IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR. THE REAR BUMPER WAS DAMAGED WHEN AN OLDER GENTLEMEN HIT ME. NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK AND THE BUMPER WAS REPLACED WITH ALL FORD PARTS. I ENCOURAGE ANY INTERESTED BUYER TO BRING THIS TRUCK TO A MECHANIC, BODY PRO OR WHOEVER YOU TRUST. YOU WILL FIND ZERO WRONG WITH IT.
PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL GET BACK TO YOU IMMEDIATELY, AS I MONITOR MY EBAY SALES VIA CELL PHONE. I HAVE BEEN AN OUTSTANDING MEMBER ON EBAY SINCE 9/03 AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED BAD OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. THE TRUCK IS AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF A VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND BABIED SINCE DELIVERY.
PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE TRULY INTERESTED.
THE WINNING BIDDER WILL PAY PAL A $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. THE BALANCE WILL BE PAID WITH EITHER A WIRE TRANSFER, A CERTIFIED CHECK (TITLE RELEASED WHEN CLEARS) OR GOOD OLD AMERICAN CASH.
THE BUYER IS TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY OF THE TRUCK. I CAN SUGGEST SOME VERY GOOD SHIPPERS IN THE AREA, BUT THE TRUCK MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN TEN DAYS OF THE DEAL BEING COMPLETED.
THANKS AGAIN FOR LOOKING AND HAPPY BIDDING. THIS TRUCK IS A REAL HEAD TURNER!

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible shown on Twitter [UPDATE w/video]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013It hasn't yet been 12 hours since the hotly anticipated 2015 Ford Mustang has been let out into public view. After a series of evocative leaks over the course of the last days, we brought you a full deep dive of the sixth-generation pony car at the dawning of today. And yet, here we are rushing to bring you news of a new Mustang variant, already.
Be it part of a plan to keep the Mustang fervor at full boil, or a misunderstood email somewhere in the chain of command, Ford UK has unceremoniously tweeted a picture of the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible. For a newly global Mustang, getting our first look at the droptop from the convertible-crazy British does make some amount of sense.
As for details, well, you're looking at them. Brandon Turkus reported yesterday that the Mustang 'vert would make use of a fully electric convertible mechanism, and that it would be of fabric construction rather than some kind of retractable hardtop. We see here that the fabric part is clearly true, and it does look as though Ford may still be employing the same kind of manually attached tonneau cover that exists right now. Of course, our view from this angle isn't great, and the particulars are still up in the air.
Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.
