I’m selling my 2010 Oxford White Ford Raptor SuperCab. It has 81K miles, the 6.2L engine and fully loaded with
all options. I’m the 2nd owner and never been in a wreck or any damage other than normal wear and tear. I’ve
added a few upgrades to it, which is listed below.
It has been Plasti-Dipped Grabber Blue last July, just to change it up a bit. The front/rear bumpers, fender flares
and roof are Plasti-Dipped black. If you’re not sure what Plasti-Dip is, it’s a rubber coating that comes in
multiple colors and when you get tired of it, it peels right off…. really cool stuff, my Hayabusa has been dipped
3x with it as well.
Sorry the pictures show it’s dirty, I haven’t had the time to clean/vacuum it before starting a turn around.
20” MB TKO Satin Black Wheels
37”x12.50 Nitto Trail Grappler Tires (I’d guess about 40% tread left)
Front Fox shocks are adjusted to mid-perch to level the truck and fit the 37’s
2013+ OEM Raptor projector headlights with Morimoto ballast/bulbs/controller
2012+ Satin Black Graphics
Satin black hood graphic with Raptor SVT logo on top
OEM power fold & adjust mirrors (weren’t an option on 2010, but installed for convenience)
Line-X bed liner
Limo tint
20” Amber Rigid Industries light bar mounted in center of front bumper (wired to Upfitter switch #1)
4 (four) 4” LED cubes (Chinese brand) in the bumper (wired to Upfitter switch #4)
Shocker XL Train Horns, 2 gallon tank & compressor (wired to Upfitter switch #3)
Pre-wired for a 40” & 30” LED light bar behind the grill (wired to Upfitter switch #2)
SVT embroidered headrests
Raptor logo & claw marks embroidered into the leather covered console lid
AFE cold air intake
Exhaust cutout
50 caliber bullet antenna
Front & rear brake rotors & pads were changed about 1 year ago
LED interior, cargo, license plate & reverse lights
LED under hood light
Amber illuminated SVT fender & hood vents (OEM)

Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.

Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.

The 11 most expensive American cars ever

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

Here's a Pro Tip for all you would-be classic car investors out there: buy Ferraris. With the Pebble Beach festivities kicking off this week, including any number high end car auctions, we thought it would be entertaining to compile a list of some to the most expensive cars ever sold with the bang of a gavel. Trouble is, once you get past the splendor of everyone's favorite Italian sports car maker, that list is pretty boring.
Ferrari dominates the all-time auction sales list; seven of the top ten most expensive cars sold wear the Cavallino Rampante badge, as well as more than half of the top fifty. Sure, a nearly $30-million Mercedes-Benz W196 racecar might be the new top dog as of last year, but it's even possible that Ferrari could take that title back in Monterey this weekend. Long story short: we think a list of the most expensive American cars ever sold at auction is a lot more entertaining to read. Hell, our list has a friggin' Batmobile on it, how can it go wrong?
Follow on below for the top ten cars that are red, white, blue and a whole lot of green.
