I PURCHASED THIS F150 ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO AT INSURANCE AUCTION FOR MY PERSONAL USE. I MAKE SURE TO GET  VEHICLES WITH THE LEAST DAMAGE. THIS FORD WAS IN AND OUT THE SHOP IN 3 DAYS ONLY REPLACED THE FENDER DRIVER DOOR AND A CONTROL ARM. ALL WITH FORD OEM PARTS.  I WILL POST THE PICTURES OF THE TRUCK BEFORE I PURCHASED IT SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT WAS FIXED. THE TRUCK WAS HIT ON THE DOOR AND THAT CAUSED THE SEAT SIDE AIRBAG TO DEPLOY. SINCE I WAS GOING TO KEEP IT I HAD THE SEAT SOWN BY AN UPOLSTERY SHOP SO THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON. THE ONLY REASON I AM GOING TO SELL IT IS BECAUSE THIS TRUCK IS JUST TO NICE FOR ME.  I OWN A BIKE SHOP AND I AM NOT GOING TO DESTROY THIS SUPER NICE INTERIOR. TRUCK HAS NORMAL WEAR THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE WHEELS WHERE ON THE TRUCK WHEN I BOUGHT IT. 2O INCH CHROME. I TOOK A GOOD AMOUNT OF PICTURES BUT IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS YO HAVE FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME A CALL 214-435-3099 THANKS   ALSO TRUCK WAS BOUGHT WITH 47573 MILES SO I HAVE ABOUT 2K MILES OF USE MOST OF THEM GOING SHOPPING WITH MY WIFE OR TO GO OUT FOR DINNER.

Need for Speed movie casts Mustang in hero car role

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Dreamworks Studios, Electronic Arts and Ford Motor Company announced today that the Ford Mustang will play the lead hero car role in the upcoming Need for Speed movie, slated to hit theaters next February. Of course, the Mustang didn't audition for the role like we imagine the film's star, Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame, might have. Rather, Ford and Dreamworks struck a partnership deal that meant the Mustang could skip the casting couch. The deal will also see the film's universe populated with other Ford products (gratuitously so, we're guessing), and the automaker will also help the studio promote the video-game-turned-movie next year.
The hero car in question is a special one-off Mustang created by Ford that is making its debut at the E3 video game trade show as we speak. Powered by a supercharged V8 and apparently based on the Shelby GT500, the car's been modified with a widebody kit, 22-inch wheels, larger air intakes and twin hood nostrils. Ford also provided the film's production with an F-450 truck that will be called "The Beast" in the film's story, and a second Mustang to be used during filming as a camera car.
The Mustang's movie career is really taking off, with news of its Need For Speed casting closely following last week's release of the trailer for Getaway, a movie coming out in August that stars Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez and another Shelby GT500. In addition to Aaron Paul and a modified Mustang, the Need For Speed movie also stars Michael Keaton (cop, we're guessing) and Dominic Cooper (villain, we're guessing), and is directed by Scott Waugh, who directed the Navy SEAL film Act of Valor in 2012.

Former Ford CEO Mulally won't run for president

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

Alan Mulally will not be following his successful term as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company with a run at an even bigger presidency. Rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would make a run at the White House sprouted after his apparent dodging of a reporter's questions about a potential candidacy during a forum in Indianapolis.
"I really think it's important that we all pull together. We really need to pull together around a compelling vision for our country and a comprehensive strategy to do it and work together. We really need to do it," Mulally said at the conference, according to The Detroit News.
He's since clarified by saying, "[I'm] honored at the suggestion, but that is not a role I am considering."

Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen

Tue, Jan 19 2016

Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
