RUNS AND RIDES AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS! 4x4...GOOD FOR WORK OR PLEASURE!!!!!
Looks like new, one owner truck, all highway miles, driven from MI to NJ on a regular basis. The last owner opted for lots of extras, the lighted, heated, signaling d/s mirror, the 35.7gallon gas tank, the trailer tow package (we have the wiring for the trailer brake) and the sliding rear window. We checked this truck out in our shop and everything works just as it should. There are some road chips in the paint, but a lot less than you would expect. The bed Tonneau cover is in great shape, no rips, holes or tears. All the tires have 50% or better tread on them.

We sell our cars through many venues so we reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback.The successful high bidder must submit a $500.00 deposit with a bank wire transfer, cash if in person, or with a credit card by telephone within 48 hours of the auction's end to secure the vehicle.We accept Visa, MC and Discover. The buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. Balance to be paid by bank to bank wire transfer,confirmed bank check, or cash (if in person). A limit of $2,000 can be applied to a credit card, with the remaining balance being paid as stated above. If the deposit is not received or the transaction is not completed in the specified time,and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the auto will be offered for resale and negative feedback will be posted.

Ford F-150 EcoBoost in NHTSA probe for acceleration issue
Tue, 28 May 2013According to Automotive News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching a probe into 400,000 Ford F-150 models over possible acceleration problems. According to the article, NHTSA has received 95 reports "alleging incidents of reduced engine power during hard accelerations" on 2011 to 2013 F-150 models equipped with the company's 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
Automotive News reports that Ford has issued three technical service bulletins "related to intermittent stumble/misfire on acceleration from highway cruise in humid or damp conditions," according to the government agency's documents. About one third of the 95 reports NHTSA has received cited humid or rainy conditions when these problems allegedly occurred.
These technical service bulletins have allowed dealers to address a "condition related to moisture accumulation in the charge air cooler during extended highway cruising at constant throttle in humid or damp conditions," AN reports, citing NHTSA documents. Furthermore, the TSB outlines details for "reprogramming the powertrain control module with the latest calibration and installing a new CAC and air deflector plate."
Signature Edition Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake to get limited production run
Mon, Dec 22 2014The upcoming Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang keeps grabbing a horde of headlines thanks in no small part to the pony car's 5.2-liter V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft, magnetic dampers and other go-fast goodies. However, as the new contender enters the ring, Shelby American is saying goodbye to the old GT500 and the company's even more powerful Super Snake version with its new Signature Edition model. Limited to a total of 50 conversions on 2007-2014 coupe or convertible GT500s, the Shelby American Signature Edition packages some of buyers' most common choices into a single vehicle with a few extra touches, as well. The heart of it all is a 3.6-liter Kenne Bell supercharger to replace the V8's standard blower and take power up to a claimed 850 horsepower for the latest models. To keep things running at the proper temp, the mill gets an upgraded radiator, heat exchanger and aluminum cooling tanks, too. The rear brakes are also improved to slow this stallion down. In addition to the boosted power, buyers get some extra style. These special Super Snakes are available in all of the colors available on them from Ford, plus a range of shades for the stripe, and the wide body package can also be added as an additional option. The limited version wears 20-inch forged wheels from Weld that are 9.5-inches wide at the front and 10.5-inches at the rear and feature Signature Edition center caps. Inside, there's a commemorative badge with Shelby's signature on the airbag cover and Signature Edition floor mats. Finally, customers get a day training at the track to learn how to control this beast as part of the package. Orders for the Signature Edition are being accepted through January 31, 2015, and the modded model is priced at $44,995.00, which is in addition to the price of the stock GT500. Wed, 05 Nov 2014Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.
