Up for sale a very strong Ford Truck. It's an F150 XL. It's a regular cab. It has an 8 foot bed with a tough plastic liner. The overall condition of the truck is great. The body has a few minor scratches here and there, few dents, but nothing too serious. The undercarriage has no rust. The tires are at about 80% thread. The breaks are still good and won't need replacement any time soon. All the fluids have been checked and topped off as needed. The interior is not worn. A few minor rips barely noticeable. It has a radio, cup holders and the seat is manual. 62k miles. The Air Conditioner works great and is ice cold. The suspension does not make any noises and feels good. Everything works on the truck. Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. 2015 Ford Focus gets more Aston-y [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014With more and more members of the Ford brand adopting a new familial face, the Focus has been left looking like an odd man out. At the Geneva Auto Show, though, it properly rejoined the family, adopting the now familiar Aston Martin-ish grille that's proliferated throughout the range.
Overall, we're liking the refreshed Focus' look. Aside from the new grille, the headlights have been restyled and now look like elongated versions of the lamps on the Focus ST. Functionally, those headlamps are bi-xenon units, complete with an adaptive front lighting system. Out back, the rear retains the same overall look, which has been smoothed out for 2015.
In the cabin, the second-generation of Ford's much-maligned Sync system makes its debut. Sync 2, as it's called, is supposedly more intuitive than the first-gen system. Ford is promising "one-shot" navigation functions for the system. Saying "I'm hungry," should bring up a list of nearby restaurants. Of course, we'll be reserving final judgment until we can test the new system in person.
