UP for sale is my 2003 F-150 Ford SuperCrew XLT 2WD. I have owned this truck for a little over 3 years originally purchasing it before the birth of our first child as a replacement for my reg. cab 2WD f-150.  I am the second owner of this truck buying it from a used car lot in MN where it ended up after the lot the orginal owner traded it in auctioned it , it was originally owned by an old man and only had 52,000 miles in 09'. The truck has served all of my purposes as a light duty weekend/family/city truck. I have since had another child and the crew cab is an option i can no longer live without. This truck has the room to seat 6, for us that was a pumpkin seat, car seat, grandma, grandpa, mommy, and daddy, again excellent family truck.  We have since moved from the city out to the country where we own property, I have purchased a F-250 that is not as nice as the truck up for sale so i can use it cutting wood, pulling bobcats, and driving through the woods w/o tearing up a very good looking nice truck.  During my ownership of this truck (40,000mi) i have performed regular maintenance diligently with regular Valvoline max life oil changes, filter changes, trans flushes, as recommended by ford and any problems that occurred were corrected immediately. Repair components I have added over my ownership are a coil & plug, battery, tires,front and rear brake pads w/ new front rotors, front inner and outter wheel bearings, and MAF.   Upon purchasing the truck i did add some aftermarket parts including headlights, taillights, 3rd brake light, and seat covers. The OEM parts are included in the Buy it now sale of the truck or paying with a preferred method. When the truck was purchased it was in need of a set of tires which I added and have replaced just before this sale, the tires on it are brand new, as well as the battery. I will provide below some details about the condition of this truck inside and out;

Interior
The interior of this truck is in amazing shape, it is a non-smoker and truly does look like brand new. This is the reason the seat covers were added, not to cover up problems but to keep it in the same shape I found it.  The truck boasts modern features such as power windows, power locks, power mirrors, four cup holders up front, two in the rear, front console, door stowage on all four doors, flip flat rear 60/40 seats, 60/40 adjustable front, catch all floor mats, additional storage behind rear seats and factory jack, front seat back pockets, overhead temperature console w/ sun-glass and opener storage, trip functions, aftermarket front and rear speakers, factory CD/am/fm stereo, cold AC, good heat, rear courtesy lamps, switchable doom lamp, visor mirrors, airbags, seatbelts, glove box, and additional dash storage. It also come with the spare tire mechanism tool.

Exterior
The exterior has been recently buffed and polished by a professional body shop to remove and spiderweb scratches and restore the clear coat shine. All the glass is in great shape including mirrors, no scratches, cracks or chips. The truck does have a place for towing ball on the bumper and chain rings under the bumper, it also has a factory 4 flat connector. The paint is called True Blue and is a darker blue with light flake and heavy pearl. There are some scratches in the truck that the buffing was unable to correct being deeper than the clear coat. The main scratches are on the left front fender near the wheel well, left rear door, right rear door, tailgate, and bumper dents. The tailgate scratches are the worst as they were caused when a trailer popped off the ball and made arch like scratches/dents in the tailgate. The bumper dents are just below the ball and were caused by a chain being used to pull out a dead bush. All of the scratches have been touched up and are difficult to see (even more difficult to get pictures of) until looking up close. i think a paint-less scratch and dent company could repair them, but it is a truck and if used as a truck is impossible to keep perfect.

In closing it has been a great truck the time I've owned it and I'm sure will be for the next owner as well. The asking price is well within the Loan to value of the truck given its low miles. And these days you'd be a whole lot money ahead over the min $28G's they want for a new one. Call or text 508-330-8315 for questions.

I have this truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the listing at anytime if a local buyer is interested. I prefer silver/gold/cash in the full amount which is due at time of pick-up. A cashiers check or money order is also acceptable, but will require a waiting period of 2 days before pick-up or shipping arrangements commence. Shipping is available if desired, but buyer will be responsible for making all arrangements and costs associated with those arrangements.

I have done plenty of research on the value of my truck and believe it meets the requirements of a Clean Retail. Blue book, black book, NADA ect... My price is fair for buy it now and my reserve is as well, I am not tying to get rich, just trying to recoup the costs of the brand new tires and battery (literally last few weeks new) I just shelled out.  I have additional zip files with more pics I can mail.

2018 Ford Expedition spied looking stylish

Tue, Sep 6 2016

The Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator got a cool reception for their 2015 warmed-over redesign. But with big, high-riding vehicles once again in vogue, Ford is pushing ahead with a ground-up redesign of its biggest SUVs. Based on these spy shots, the Expedition will continue to serve as the Navigator's more affordable twin. Yes, that's a bold prediction, considering we still haven't spotted Lincoln testing the new Navigator, but study the greenhouses on this Expedition prototype and the Navigator Concept from New York – from the arrow-straight belt line to the extra-long rear window to the aggressively raked windshield, this Expedition's overall profile is broadly similar to what Lincoln previewed earlier this year. While our spies claim the new Expedition will look to the F-150 for design inspiration, we see a departure from past Expedition tradition. Unlike the supposed Expedition spy shots we showed you nearly a year ago – which was nothing more than an SUV with an F-150's nose grafted on, this prototype's front-end styling looks softer and more aerodynamic, with a smaller grille and headlights, almost like an Escape or Edge. This kind of change would explain the additional front-end camouflage. In back, our spies rightly point out that Ford fitted a faux rear end to disguise the rear window's rake – expect the real thing to feature the angled rear window previewed on the Navigator Concept. Look at the last image in the gallery for a better idea of how the Expedition's rear window will actually look. We can't say a lot about the taillights, because of the camo, but non-LED taillights are present. We'd expect Ford to offer LEDs on higher trim levels. While the F-150's styling might not make the transition to the Expedition, its powertrains and emphasis on lightweight aluminum will. Our spies report the biggest SUV will ride on a new T3 platform and feature an aluminum body, with the F-150's 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Expect a ten-speed automatic transmission and start/stop tech for sure, while the smaller 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 could slot in as the Expedition's base engine – we're less sure on that one. And we're even more uncertain of the rumors of an Expedition Hybrid. Our spies report it could mate a 3.5-liter V6 with an electric motor(s) and battery packs for a more economical full-size SUV. Expect to see the 2018 Expedition debut in January, at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show.

Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

On the surface, there's very little that the Ford Fiesta ST and Toyota GT86 (or the Scion FR-S that is sold in the US, or the largely similar Subaru BRZ) share in common. One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. It is with all of this in mind that we direct you to the video below, in which the blokes from Evo pit the two manic little machines against one another on a race track. The result? Well, it can be summed up this way: Fast versus fun.
See how the track battle goes down in the video below.

Ford to announce Mulally retirement, Fields CEO as early as May 1

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Ford CEO Alan Mulally may be about to announce his long-rumored retirement from the Blue Oval, according to a pair of insiders who spoke to Bloomberg. An official statement on the succession could arrive as soon as May 1. Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields is rumored to step up as the new CEO. The company is said to be readying the announcement soon to ensure an orderly transition of power, according to the insiders.
Mulally's retirement from Ford has been a hot topic for a while. He was seriously rumored last year to be leaving the automaker to take over as the CEO of Microsoft. The board even said at one point that it was okay with them if he stepped down early. However, the CEO maintained he would stay with the business through at least the end of 2014. Fields has been rumored as a frontrunner to take over the top spot at the company since he was promoted to COO.
For the moment, Ford isn't officially confirming any of these plans. "We don't comment on speculation. We do have succession plans in place for our key leadership. We take succession planning very seriously," said Susan Krusel, Ford Global News Manager, to Autoblog.
