Your bidding on a 2001 F-150 XLT with 124,200 miles on it. This vehicle has been used for long trips and has been serviced regularly. At 109,000 miles the motor was re-built. The transmission was also replaced at 119,000. Recently I replaced the rear end as it was starting to get loud. The truck has very little rust, how ever there are several small dents and blemishes to the finish, included are a couple of dents as well. The interior is very clean, for the year, and all controls work. The box under carriage beams have all been replaced with stainless steel beams. As you can see it has a extra high cargo box if you want to load up a four wheeler or other toy. The back window on the box does need repair as one hinge is broken loose, but should be easy to fix. If you want a 4x4 wheel drive for the winter that will be dependable this is the one to have, I will keep the reserve well below the Kelly Blue book, so don't miss out on a deal..
Just think the motor, has less than 15, 000 miles on it and the transmission and rear end have just over 5,000 miles on them. HAVE FUN BIDDING!!
Accident explanation to best of my knowledge!
AS you can see the truck has 3 reported accidents.
The first was before I purchased the vehicle, but it was repaired and it never effected the trucks performance.
The second was due to hitting a marker pole, damage was limited to the front bumper. ( seen in the picture)
The third was due to snow coming off my garage roof, damage limited to roof and windshield, small dent in hood. Roof and windshield was repaired.
I have always kept up on the maintenance on this truck, brakes are good, and 4 wheel drive works great.
RESERVE IS WELL BELOW KELLY BLUE BOOK!!!

Ford announces free brake pad offer if customers stop by dealers
Mon, 04 Aug 2014These days, when you buy a new car, it's not unreasonable to expect a certain period of free maintenance to come along as well. Sometimes this is through the life of the warranty, in other cases a little less. But Ford Motor Company is going beyond those deals for at least one part of its cars. As of now, if you buy a set of Motorcraft brake pads for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury model, you get free replacements for as long as you own the vehicle. The offer is good at Ford or Lincoln dealers and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers.
"We will replace the pads for as long as you own the vehicle," said Elizabeth Weigandt to Autoblog. She did clarify that the Motorcraft pads are generally for models from the '90s or newer. Also, to take advantage of this program, a person must return to the same dealer each time to get the free parts.
Of course, Ford isn't just handing out brake pads to anyone who walks by; there are certain stipulations. First, the components have to be worn down to less than three millimeters to be eligible, and the buyer still has to pay for the labor to install them. If the model is used as a fleet vehicle for commercial purposes like as a taxi or limousine, this offer also doesn't apply; the same thing for racecars. On the plus side, if you recently bought a set of pads from one of the participating locations, you're still in luck. The deal covers parts purchased as of July 1.
Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
