2001 f150 2wd supercrew cali style truck...it has only 157k miles that were very gently placed on the truck, I honestly can tell you I don't think its even been over 4k rpm's. ill start by telling you the bads, the cruise control plug under the hood went bad, and I have not replaced it yet, and there is one tiny nickel dent in the rear passenger door that you can not see unless you look really hard, now the goods, its a beautiful truck, and gets great gas mileage....its 110% rust free top to bottom, so you don't have to worry about that. the inside is all stock, just needs to maybe be shampooed(4 kids riding for a few years will make it that way)....the outside, the paint is all stock except the bed cover and tailgate...the tailgate I did as a French style to give it the custom look from the back and it does have license plate lights to make it legal...the bed cover I bought years ago from my dad and painted it to match, there are no cracks and anything wrong with it....I added the stainless nerf bars a few years ago and they hold a lot of weight and of course, are not rusted....the lift 13 1/2" lift is made of a 7.5" Fabtech full suspension, top gun customs 2" add a leaf and 3" coil daystar spacers and a performance accessories 3" body lift....the lift and all components were professionally installed and drives and rides wonderfully....the upper and lower ball joints are as light as you'd ever want them and don't need replaced any time soon.....the tires are 37x13.5x22 Toyo MT Open Country on 22x14 Diesels -76 offset, are 4 corners are in great shape and are not peeling, cracking or pitting... all power options work fine as does everything else on the truck....if you have any questions, please ask, im sure ive forgotten something or if you want more pix, just let me know....the only reason im selling is because of my double knee surgery, and im after a SUV with 3rd row seating...

Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.

Plethora of 2015 Ford F-150 customs runs the gamut at SEMA

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Of Ford's customized trucks, two feature the name of famous Ford racers.
Of all the OEMs making appearances at the 2014 SEMA show, Ford owns arguably the most significant group of vehicles, thanks to its new 2015 F-150 and Mustang. While you can look for our Mustang coverage soon, we've managed to sneak out and get snaps of some of a few of the F-150s on display at the company's sprawling, 20,000-square-foot display (look for even more aftermarket F-150 goodness in the coming days).

Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams

Sun, 11 Aug 2013

As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.
