I am the second owner of this 1999 Ford F-150 XLT Sport. I purchased this truck 3 years ago with 12k original miles on it. The original owner was a 'collector' and only drove the vehicle on nice days. Since owning it, I have put approximately 30k miles on it, mainly driving it back and forth to work. As you will see from the pictures, the truck is in excellent condition. The engine is a 5.4L Triton V8, mated to a 4-sp automatic transmission, and features a limited slip differential.
As a 'Sport' model, the truck handles well, and comes with Rancho aftermarket shocks. Other aftermarket accessories include:
- Leer Fiberglass Tonneau Cover (matching paint)
- Protecta Heavy Weight Bedmat
- Custom Truck Cover
- Ruff Tuff Custom Fit Seat Covers (shown, front only)
- Ford Motor Co. Bug Visor (model specific)
The original owner also had the truck 'hand' pinstriped by a local friend, and both the pinstriping and original factory paint are in great condition. There is only one small imperfection on the vehicle that I am aware of, which is found on the rear lip of the tonneau cover, near the locking mechanism. Consist of a series of small pee size chips, which have been corrected with factory touch-up paint, but are still noticable when looking for them. The interior bed of the truck is basically brand new. The oil has been changed consistently every 3k miles and vehicle has been washed and waxed on a regular basis.
Vehicle comes with power locks, power windows, rear sliding window, and color matched door handles and front/rear bumpers. The tires has approx. 30% tread left on them. The cab configuration is a supercab with suicide rear opening doors.
As with any ebay auction, the vehicle is being sold 'as-is' and the buyer will be responsible for pick-up or shipping costs should that be required. A $500 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hrs of the auction ending.
I have done my best to describe the vehicle as best I can, should anyone have anymore questions or inquiries, please feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6
Mon, 11 Nov 2013If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
Ford announces first non-pursuit-rated police car ever
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Ford announced its first non-pursuit-rated Police Interceptor ever, based on the Taurus, which employs the smaller 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine in place of similar pursuit-rated Police Interceptors powered by naturally aspirated 3.5-liter and 3.7-liter V6s and the top-spec 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Officially called the Special Service Police sedan, the car was commissioned at the request of law-enforcement agencies that desire a more fuel-efficient vehicle for detectives, administrators and campus police, who don't necessarily need pursuit-rated vehicles.
The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine produces 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, but more importantly, it allows the SSP sedan to achieve somewhere in the neighborhood of 22 miles per gallon city and 32 mpg highway, which are the civilian 2.0-liter Taurus' official EPA ratings. Ford estimates that the SSP sedan will get 20 mpg city, 30 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined, with the help of Active Grille Shutters that open to allow more cooling air through to the radiator, or close to optimize aerodynamics and fuel economy. Those numbers compare favorably to the discontinued Crown Victoria-based Interceptor's 14 mpg city and 21 mpg highway and the newer Taurus-based cars equipped with V6s, the most fuel efficient of which gets 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
If it was driven 90,000 miles over the course of three years, a 2.0-liter SSP sedan would save law enforcement agencies $5,042.92 versus the Crown Vic, Ford estimates. The EPA is expected to post official fuel-economy numbers for the SSP sedan in December. Until then, read the press release below for more information.
