Listed for sale here is my 4x4 Pickup. The truck is a 1999 Ford F-150 Extended Cab. The truck has 4 wheel drive and has the Lariat trim (which was the highest package you could get in 1999). I have owned this truck since I was 16 years old. It is was my very first truck I ever had that my parents bought for me. The truck has around 211,000 miles on it but still drives great. My dad bought it for me in 2001 with 39,000 miles on it and it does have a rebuilt title. The truck has seen all highway miles and the four wheel drive has been used at least once every winter (no off roading, though we have used it a few times to get to a cemetery or two back home that was on a hill). The truck has a brand new rebuilt crate engine installed from Ford. This engine was installed March 2011 at Brown's Ford in West Liberty, Ky and has nearly a year of warranty left. Since the install I have put a little over 10,000 miles on the engine. The reason for the install was that the old engine went down because of a spark plug ejection. These 5.4L engines from 97-03 were notorious for blowing out spark plugs and the first time this happened to me was in 2005. Had it fixed but this began to happen again in late 2010. I had this happen to the same one three times and the third time something definitely went wrong and to make a long story short there was internal engine damage. Ended up just buying a factory engine from Ford and having it installed. Ford guaranteed the engine for 3 years (and unlimited mileage). The warranty is up on 03/17/2014. In late 2010 I also had a new fuel pump installed. Last year I also had a Ford Motor-craft battery installed from Ford and it came with a five year warranty. Other additions that I have made to the truck are:
Viper Model 5701V 2-Way Remote Start, Alarm System, & Keyless Entry (with both remotes).
Brand New Ford Factory Steering Wheel
Lund Easy on & Easy off Bed Tarp
2000 Model Ford Factory Overhead Console w/compass and temperature sensor
Electronic Dimming Mirror
4" Exhaust System (Installed last year).
Aftermarket Instruments (Transmission Temperature & Exhaust Temperature gauges, they look pretty cool).
iPhone-iPod factory radio connection (I took out the 6-disc cd exchanger and replaced with this and it works great).
Trailer Towing Package with trailer towing brake controller
Brand new Windshield installed last year (high quality glass).
All new tie rods and balljoints installed last year.
New Michelin tires installed a little over two years ago, probably 60 to 70 percent tread remaining. These tires ride great!!!
Husky Front Floor Liners (Great for capturing dirt better than any floor mats. Back seat are husky regular floor mats).
I also have a 1999 model Ford Expedition middle console that I can include. I had the intention of installing this but never got around to doing so. The most work this truck has seen as far as pulling a trailer was pulling my tractor between my farm and my grandpa's farm for a total of about 12 trips (20 miles each). I thought it would be cool to have the added instruments and they look almost like factory installed. This truck has really not seen any action as far the pulling goes but if your interested in doing a lot of pulling then then the transmission temperature gauge is a great addition. There is nothing wrong with this truck aside from the fact it is high mileage and therefore has the normal scratches. The exhaust is a little louder since I replaced the old one with the 4" so some of you looking for a more factory sound may not like it. It is definitely not loud, I used to have dual exhausts and it was much louder. Nevertheless it is louder than factory. There are a few rust spots on the truck and as always for the mileage there are some scratches and dings (there are a few on the tailgate). This was my very first truck and I do hate to part with it but as a matter of economics I just do not need it anymore. I got married last year and my wife and I moved to Louisville so I could attend law school. I already had two vehicles so I needed to decide which one to part with. The truck is registered in South Dakota and has a South Dakota title free of liens (I lived in South Dakota prior to moving to Louisville). This truck will make someone a very reliable and good truck. It definitely has the setup, especially if you just need a truck to use around the farm or on the job for pulling. I have all receipts for the work done, except for the fuel pump. I'm not sure what I've done with it. Oh and the warranty from Ford on the engine is good at any Ford dealership. If you have any quesitons feel free to ask.

Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
2014 Ford Fiesta ST priced from $21,400* [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The 2014 model year brings a whole host of changes to Ford's Fiesta B-Segment fighter, the most important of which (to our enthusiast eyes, anyway) is the addition of a potent new ST model. The US-spec hot hatch was first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and thanks to Ford's build-and-price site, we've now learned that the Fiesta ST will slide in at $21,400 when it goes on sale later this year (*not including $795 for destination).
Under the hood of the ST is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four good for 197 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford hasn't released performance data on its pint-sized puncher just yet, but know that these numbers make the Fiesta ST ever-so-slightly more powerful than the larger Volkswagen GTI while returning an estimated 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the standard Fiesta also gets a smattering of improvements for the 2014 model year, including a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and revised exterior styling. Pricing for the 2014 Fiesta sedan starts at $14,000, with the five-door model adding $600 to that number (again excluding the $795 destination fee).
Ford F-150 Tremor to pace NASCAR Truck Series this weekend
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Ford's bro-tastic F-150 Tremor will be pacing this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway. The Tremor fills a gap in the Ford F-Series lineup that we imagine the NASCAR set have clamored for - a hot-rod pickup truck.
Where the F-150 Raptor is designed to go quick on anything, the Tremor and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 are designed to tackle the road. The 365-horsepower and 420-pound-foot EcoBoost is unchanged from the rest of the F-150 line, but it combines the shortest drive ratio with the lightest two-door body, making it a bit of hot rod.
Ford will be offering hot laps with Michigan native Brad Keselowski behind the wheel of the Tremor for fans that arrive in the Irish Hills on August 14. The main showing for the new pickup will be the August 17 race, though, when it'll lead the field at the start of the race and through cautions.
