I hate to get rid of this truck. I bought it brand new in the Fall of 1998 and I am the only owner. It has never been smoked in. I just need a bigger truck and can't afford to keep this one and buy another one. From checking with the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Club, so many people claim they have the 50th Anniversary Edition but don't have the markings that stand by the claim. My truck has the words "50th Anniversary Edition" under the F150 logo on both front fender panels, also has embossed in the leather seat backs "50th Anniversary Edition", and also on the floor mats is embroidered with the same. You will see in the pictures that there is some wear on the driver's seat and the leather steering wheel. There is also a crack across the windshield. Other than that, I believe the vehicle is in excellent condition. Mine is different than any other picture I've seen of 50th Anniversary due to the gold pin-striping and especially the gold accents on the wheels. I believe this to be one of the more rare collector's edition and would be a good addition to any truck enthusiast's home.

Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]
Wed, Dec 3 2014Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings. UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Dec 2012There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
