THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!     I am selling this for a friend of mine so if you have questions I will check with him and get back to you ASAP.   Up for bids is a VERY SHARP 1992 Ford F-150 4X4 truck. Check out these pics guys as it is one very great looking truck. It has the 5.0 with a 5 speed trans. The engine is the 5.0 that was rebuilt not to long ago. It was bored .30 and has a mild cam in it. It sounds great and runs extremely strong with the cam, headers and dual exhaust. It has a set of headers with flow masters on it. The engine has just enough lope to it to sound right. Its not radical at all so it still idles fine. The trans is the 5 speed and of course it is a 4 wheel drive. This truck just  recently made a trip from WV to MD and back so its not a hopped up truck that you cant go anywhere its just as comfortable on the highway as it is on the back roads. The truck has a 3 inch body lift and a 6 inch suspension lift. This was all done right guys its not a back yard shade tree mechanic job. The tires are 42's on 15 inch wheels. The truck runs great and drives actually good for such a big tire. Although the odometer is showing 110000 im selling this as true miles unknown as when the lift and tires were added they installed a Tom Tom GPS system for use as a speedometer which is the most accurate you can get. I don't thing the original odometer and speedometer is operating at this time. There is also a Auto Gage Tach on the dash with a shift light on it. All this works good as I said earlier they drove this truck daily. The body on the truck is very solid. I see no evidence of filler work and theres no rust showing anywhere, on the body or underneath. The paint is fairly recent, its nice and shiny with the only problem being on the hood where they molded the hood scoop on. It has some cracking and some paint problems in that area only. This would be an easy fix but it still looks good as it is. Also, all the lights and the grille are fairly new and look very nice. The truck has power steering, locks, tilt, CD player, and also AC but I think it needs charged up as it doesn't seem to be getting cold. The system is complete so a charge will probably get it up to operating correctly. The interior has gray buckets and gray carpet. The seats were added from another type vehicle but they look good. Door panels are good driver quality as is the carpet. The rears are 4 11 ratio. My friend is selling this in order to buy a newer truck he found, not because theres any problems. This is a beautiful lifted truck guys and its ready to hit the road.Iif you buy a truck and add all the parts, not to mention labor, you will have a small fortune in it. This truck is priced very, very, low in order to move it quickly so he can apply the money to the other truck hes wanting to buy. Also that is the reason for the 3 day auction as it needs to sell before the other one is gone. This is a nice truck guys so don't miss out. The buy it now price is extremely reasonable so don't wait and maybe miss out. Also please remember this is a 92 model so don't expect perfection as it is a driver, not a trailer queen. Im selling this for my friend but I know the truck somewhat and I feel its a great vehicle. Buy it and come drive it home or I will help in anyway I can if you need to have it shipped. Check out my feedback guys as its well over 500 and all positive so you know youre dealing with an honest ebayer. You don't get great feedback like that if you lie and cheat people, we tell it like it is. If you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me before bidding to let me know your a serious bidder and will follow through with the deal if you win. If you do not I will cancel your bid. Sorry but there seems to be a lot of non paying people these days. Also, I reserve to end the auction early as the truck is listed for sale locally also. Don't miss out on this lifted beauty guys or gals, its a great truck at a great price. Good luck should you decide to bid. Thanks. This truck has a clear WV title ready to go.

On Jun-30-13 at 07:54:52 PDT, seller added the following information:

THIS IS A 5 SPEED GUYS, NOT AN AUTOMATIC AS LISTING HEADING STATES. EBAY WONT LET ME CHANGE THE TITLE SINCE THERE ARE ALREADY BIDS. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION. AGAIN, IT IS A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANS. THANKS

2015 F-150 kick-starts Ford sales

Wed, Feb 4 2015

The F-150 had a middling year in 2014, and its sales dipped slightly as Ford transitioned to producing the all-new truck with an aluminum body. But with one factory humming, another on the way and a fuller stock of trucks, 2015 is already shaping up to be a different story. The F-Series posted a 17-percent leap in January, helping to push Ford sales to a 15-percent gain for the month. The F-Series had its best January performance in 11 years with sales of 54,370 trucks last month. Much of this strength comes from the new generation of the F-150. While many of the old model are still being sold off, Ford is rolling out the new version. Just five percent of the F-150's retail sales were the new truck in December, but it was up to 18 percent in January. The increase comes as the first factory that makes the truck, Ford's Dearborn facility, is fully back online. The other F-150 factory, in Kansas City, is still completing its changeover to build the aluminum-bodied truck, and that's expected to be finished in the first quarter of this year. Sales of the truck will still be "tempered a bit" until the Kansas City plant ramps up, Ford sales analyst Erich Merkle said. Ford expects to have a full inventory of F-150s by mid-year. To that end, the company announced plans on Wednesday to add 1,550 jobs to support the F-150, including 900 positions at the Kansas City factory. The remaining jobs will be spread out over sites in metro Detroit. The Dearborn and Kansas City factories collectively will be able to build more than 700,000 F-150s annually. The added headcount also means Ford has reached the maximum number of entry-level workers allowed under its pact with the United Auto Workers. About 300 to 500 employees at several plants in the Midwest will transition to a higher pay rate, and their wages will rise from $19.28 an hour to $28.50 an hour. The F-Series was Ford's hottest seller in January, moving off lots in an average of 12 days. The high-end models, the King Ranch and the Platinum versions, are moving slightly quicker. The average transaction price is also up $2,100 for the F-150 compared to January 2014. "We're really pleased with how the new one is doing on dealer lots," Merkle said. A larger stock of F-150s will allow Ford and its rivals to capitalize on low fuel prices, which have slowed consumers' interest in smaller vehicles.

2015 Ford Mustang invades SEMA, led by King Cobra

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Ford showcased more than a dozen customized 2015 Mustangs at its sprawling 20,000-square foot display this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center as the iconic pony car's 50th anniversary celebration continued at the SEMA Show.
While Mustangs are always a hot commodity at SEMA, the new generation brought increased attention from the aftermarket, as builders like Galpin Auto Sports, Richard Petty's Garage and Vaughn Gittin Jr. offered their takes on the new 'Stang.
The extensive display included a range of Mustangs from mild to wild, with everything from a 600-plus horsepower King Cobra pictured at the top, to paint-and-wheel packages. The new regal Cobra, which we spied early in our SEMA adventure this year, may not be the replacement for the Cobra Jet as we speculated, but it does seem to point the way forward for the next iteration of a supreme Ford dragster. Fat drag slicks out back make it's reason for being abundantly clear, and for tells us that modded car is good for a 10.97-second quarter-mile run.

Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.
Take a look below for a few video snippets of Rowe's tenure at Ford.
