This is a 1 owner truck. My grandfather owned it since new and the original miles are exactly as the odometer reads. 57,500

The truck runs and drives great. New tires were put on last year when we inherited it at 52,000 miles.

The truck has power windows & door locks. Truck is the in line 4.9L 6 cylinder and has the automatic transmission. It is an ac car but when I got it there wasnt any freon in it and the pulley on the clutch was froze up so I took the compressor out and replaced it with a pulley. Ac can be added real easily if needed.

When I got it I had my mechanic go through it and all it needed was new tires. It is a dual fuel tank truck and both tanks work properly.

Replaced original radio with a Bluetooth cd player so I could hook my phone up to it.  I have the original radio I will include with the sale.

There is some spots on the hood where the white paint has chipped off but there is no rust on the hood. The only rust on it is above the pass door which is common for this model and similar ford models.

The shell is I. Working condition the seals need to be replaced as they are dried out. The shell was put on when new so the bed is in good shape. There is also a rubber mat in the bed that has been there since new.

This truck has been really well preserved and it is in really great condition.

BRAND NEW TIRES

****ONE THING I WANT TO MAKE CLEAR IS THIS CAR HAS ONLY 57K MILES ON IT.  FOR SOME REASON WHEN IT WAS SMOGGED THE SMOG TECH PUT A 1 IN FRONT OF THE LEADING NUMBER BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THE ODOMETER HAD TURNED OVER.  IT HAS NOT ANY WELL TRAINED AUTOMOTIVE TECH COULD SEE VERY QUICKLY THIS CAR HAS ONLY 57K ORIGINAL MILES.  I HAVE A MILEAGE RECORD BOOK AS WELL FROM MY GRANDFATHER THAT PROOVES THIS.

Feel free to ask any questions you have. I drove this as a daily driver to and from work for about a year and never had any problems.

I have a bunch of pics I can text.
Serious buyers only

Thank you
Justin

Seinfeld's Porsches, '61 Ferrari lead the way at Gooding Amelia Island sale

Tue, Mar 1 2016

If you're in the market for a sports car with celebrity provenance or just an incredibly well-preserved high-performance machine, then you'll want to check out Gooding & Company's Amelia Island auction in Florida on March 11. The highlight of the sale is likely 18 cars, mostly Porsches, from Jerry Seinfeld's collection, but there's more to see than just the comedian's sporting metal. While several of Seinfeld's cars carry auction estimates in the millions, they aren't the most valuable at the sale. That honor falls on a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider, which could sell for between $15 million and $17 million. This one is among the 37 examples with covered headlights, and it has some theatrical provenance after appearing in the Sophia Loren film Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. If your tastes skew more American, then one of 31 Ford GT40 MKI road cars is also among the lots. Gooding expects the rare coupe to sell for between $3.2 million and $3.6 million. Ford originally used this GT40 for dealer promotions, but it eventually fell into private hands. Even today, its multiple owners have only covered around 3,200 miles in it. Gooding also expects a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Disappearing-Top Convertible Coupe with a body by Murphy to bring $2.5 million to $3 million. The auction house claims this might be the "most original" example left because of a history of owners who kept it for long periods – and the vehicle never needed a complete restoration. Some lots carry more attainable estimates like $35,000 for a 1962 MGA. You can check out all the listings on Gooding's online catalog and some of the highlights in the gallery above. You've probably read the news about Seinfeld's Porsches, but here's a refresher: The collection includes amazing cars like a 550 Spyder, 917/30 Can-Am Spyder, and a 718 RSK. Related Video:

Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
