Nice 1941 Ford Pickup With Updated Engine To 351 Windsor on 2040-cars
Waynoka, Oklahoma, United States

This is a super nice 1941 Ford F-100 update that needs some TLC. The frame is a 1966 F-100 that has been shortened to fit this truck. The twin I beam was removed and the 41 straight axle remounted. Nice finish on the frame work and the vehicle drives well. It has a 1976 Ford Granada 351 Windsor motor and automatic transmission with shift on the floor. It has new radiator, new tires all around, new front brake shoes and a new electric cooling fan. There are new LED tail lights and the three bar wheel covers come with the truck. The new fuel cell is located in the bed box, the wood bed has been recently re-stained and finished. The paint is an older job, but in decent condition with a few chips. The hood needs to be adjusted, but I didn't know what I was doing with that so I left it for someone who does. The center piece in the front grill is not the right piece and there is no front bumper. I believe that the gauges in the dash are not correct for the pickup, though they seem to work, and it needs a new steering wheel. Speedometer does work but actual miles are not correct. I'd be happy to answer any questions and you can call John at 580-515-7508. Truck is located in Waynoka OK and the buyer will need to pick up or arrange transport. Willing to hear any serious offers.

Are you Ford's next Bullitt Mustang? [w/poll]
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Ford has a long history of offering special editions of its legendary Mustang. One of the most vaunted of those trim packages, though, has only been offered twice. The first time was in 2001, and then again in 2008. Yes, we're talking about the Bullitt.
Named for the infamous Dark Highland Green Mustang Fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 cop melodrama Bullitt, the car was famous for not just its pilot, but the high-speed chase it took part in during the movie. Now, we think we have images of the next Bullitt.
According to our spy photographers, the paint is a "dead-ringer" for the Dark Highland Green that has signified these special edition Mustangs. While we're inclined to agree, it's also worth pointing out that this shade looks very similar to one of the 2015's other new colors, Guard. We've yet to see one on the road (let alone in such dreary conditions), so it's tough to say for certain.
Ford Ka Concept shown in Brazil, could enter production by 2014
Wed, 13 Nov 2013The Ford Ka (pronounce it like a Bostonian saying "car") is the Blue Oval's sub-Fiesta offering in a number of markets that aren't North America. It's been a staple in Europe since it launched in 1996 and in South America since 1997, where it's enjoyed quite a bit of popularity as an affordable, efficient city car.
The European and South American models grew apart over the years, until Europe ended up with a Fiesta-inspired car and Brazil retained a more evolved version of the original Ka's styling. With this Ka Concept, which is really a concept in name only, Ford is previewing a Ka not just for the European market, but as the brand's new, global small car. With city car sales expected to grow dramatically in coming years and the ever increasing price of fuel, Ford's move to get a new, competitive car into the market on a global level isn't surprising.
Wearing Ford's new, familial grille, the Ka Concept features the same crisp, sculpted sheetmetal that's adorned the Fusion and Fiesta. Developed in-house by Ford Brazil, a production version could launch by 2014, according to Ford's press release. It's unclear what engines will sit under this car's hood, although we'd bet the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Fiesta will be available at some point.
