This truck has great potential as either a driver or restoration.
The truck has a great vintage look to it that attracts attention every time I drive it
. The 1971 ranger package f100 in this condition is very rare.
It has a 360 v8 that was rebuilt before I bought it.
Overall clean under the hood . The auto transmission shifts as it should. The truck is equipped with a brake controller that looks original. The exhaust is new.The door gaskets have been replaced. The interior is redone fairly well. The seat has been recovered. Unfortunately the original radio is gone but there is a cd player with remote.
Power Steering, Power Brakes, Airconditioning, Brake controller, Cd player with amp. Not molested or beat. This was a gentlemans truck.
The paint is a 10 footer but its not that bad.
The navy blue is a 7 out of 10. It could be buffed out to look better. The bed has a spray in liner in decent condition. There are a couple spots with rust bubbles but not bad. One the size of a 50 cent piece on the passenger door and some on the tailgate here and there, small ones.
Overall a great truck to restore or fix up and drive.
California truck, not rotted out , great condition.
What it needs are a carb rebuild , the brakes done , and some rims and tires. I am not sure about the drips but they aren't terrible and the truck doesn't lose oil noticeably.
Look at the pics, she is straight and in really good shape, if I had time I would fix her myself.
Breaks my heart really because I know when I look back Im going to kick myself for selling .
I just want another ford guy who can fix this truck up to buy it.
Clear title in hand.
I will require a 500 dollar non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction ending , buyer is responsible for shipping. I think you would be better off shipping or trailer the truck as the brakes do need attention before driving too much.
Thanks for looking, and message me if you have questions.
The reserve is a fair price and I will help out the buyer by being available to the shipper.

Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.

You can now order Domino's pizza from your Sync-equipped Ford

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

The news keeps pouring in from the Consumer Electronics Show now underway in Las Vegas, and the latest comes from Ford which has announced two new apps for its Sync AppLink system.
First up is a cooperative app launched by Ford together with Domino's Pizza that lets drivers of the former order pizza from the latter right from their car. The service allows those with Ford Sync AppLink in their car or truck and are registered with a Domino's Pizza Profile to place an order for their favorite pie using Dearborn's voice-recognition software for either pickup or delivery. Save your information in your Pizza Profile and it'll be sent to your house without even the push of a button, which strikes us as awesome a use of technology as we've ever seen.
