1963 Ford F100 Custom Cab and chassis. This truck was stored inside for many years and was a great candidate for restoration when found, very solid.
I was restoring this vehicle for myself, until the project was interrupted by unexpected circumstances. I carefully removed and stored all parts by hand,(no torches or sawzalls) before it was sent to the media blaster and paint, this was done frame-off. I had it painted in its factory original paint scheme, Holly Green. I have all the glass, window and door mechanisms, automatic steering column(painted), heater box, wiper motor, gauges, seat frame, interior and exterior trim pieces. I also have many duplicate parts. This is a super solid pickup truck in the making!!
This vehicle is a rolling chassis, no drivetrain. There is no box, as I was planning to make it a stake-rack.
Truck is located in Hampstead, N.C. just north of Wilmington. It IS for sale locally so auction may end early. Pickup or delivery is the buyers responsibility, I can assist in loading.
A non refundable paypal deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction closing, with the remainder to be paid in cash or certified check. title will be released once funds have cleared.
my reserve is set at less than half of what I have invested in this truck, so please don't ask. It hurts too much to say the number, I think people will be pleasantly surprised.

Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.
You can find more information in the NHTSA bulletin posted below.
Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
Check out both the Mustang 1 Concept and first production 1964.5 Mustang above and below.
Watch this awesome R/C car chase scene made with cardboard and glue
Fri, 22 Feb 2013It never ceases to amaze us how much video production talent you can find on YouTube, especially when considering movies like Battleship actually exist on the silver screen. It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.
Scroll down to watch the scaled-down action ensue as well as the full-scale conclusion.
