YOU ARE BIDDING ON A ONE OWNER 1975 FORD F100 EXPLORER SWB, 390 4BBLCARB,AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT THIS TRUCK NEW FROM GLENWOOD,AR. IT HAD A 302CI ENGINE WITH A STANDARD TRANSMISSION. HE WANTED MORE POWER SO HE REPLACED THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WITH A 390CI, 4BBLCARB AND A C6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.

THIS TRUCK IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE FRONT SEAT HAD A PLASTIC COVER ON IT SINCE IT WAS NEW. THE SUN VISORS HAVE PLASTIC COVERS AS WELL. THE DASH IS IN PERFECT SHAPE. THE DOOR PANELS ARE ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. THE FLOOR COVER HAS ALWAYS HAD FLOOR MATS. MY HUSBAND WAS VERY, VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT HIS TRUCK AS IT HAS ALWAYS STAYED IN THE GARAGE.

THE CHROME ON THE BED AND CAB IN GREAT CONDITION. INSIDE THE BED IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AS IT HAS HAD A CAMPER SHELL ON IT UNTIL RECENTLY.

I JUST RECENTLY HAD THE GAS TANK CLEANED OUT ALONG WITH THE CARBORATOR HAS BEEN REBUILT. IT ALSO HAS A NEW CONTROL MODULE, COIL,FUEL PUMP AND FILTER. JUST PUMP THE FOOT FEED 2 TIMES AND IT STARTS RIGHT UP. DRIVES WELL ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT HAVE POWER STEERING OR POWER BRAKES. IT DOES NOT HAVE AN A/C SYSTEM EITHER. IT STILL HAS THE CLUTCH PEDAL WHEN IT WAS A STANDARD TRANSMISSION. IT DOES LEAK A LITTLE BIT OF OIL BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH TO WORRY ABOUT.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS TRUCK IS ALMOST 40 YEARS OLD SO IT DOES HAVE A FEW NICKS HERE AND THERE BUT YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING A TRUCK THIS CLEAN THAT HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED. GOOD LUCK BIDDING. ....PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

Shelby to auction 2012 GT350 No. 1 in Vegas

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

With Shelby preparing to wind down production of its brutal GT350, a 624-horsepower Mustang that's meant to go up against the Roush Stage 3 in the world of tuned Ford ponycars, the Las Vegas-based tuner is looking to give back to one lucky customer. It'll auction off the very first GT350 ever produced, at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, a three-day event that runs from September 26 through September 28.
The GT350 is a monster, with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 that's been tuned well past 600 horsepower in a time when Ford's own Shelby-branded GT500 barely reached 550 horsepower. The GT350 is much louder than Ford's effort, too, both visually and audibly. The wide body look isn't what we'd call conventional, but on a car that sounds and goes like this, something extreme is needed. According to Shelby American's vice president of production, Gary Davis, "Carroll was very excited about the new wide body option, so that was included on this car. It's the first 2012 GT350 serial number from our anniversary year. It is a very special car." Wilwood brakes, a massaged suspension, and some very fat, sticky tires add to the Shelby experience.
This particular GT350 will be lot number 750, and will cross the Barrett-Jackson stage on Sunday, September 28.

Ford Focus PHEV on the way?

Tue, Jan 21 2014

A refreshed Ford Focus is in the works and that means a few details are leaking out. Spy shots from last month indicated the Focus will have a gaping grille just like its "One Ford" global C-segment comrade, the Fiesta. While Ford is being quiet about it, the Focus could also be getting an "Energi" option, joining the C-Max Energi and Fusion Energi in Ford's plug-in hybrid family. The Focus will likely use technology originated in the C-Max Energi that combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor capable of a 20-mile range, according to Autoexpress. The pure electric Focus is expected to stay in the lineup despite its slow sales; its price range should be similar to what's on the market now. The third-generation Focus looked good enough to become the top-selling nameplate in the world in 2012. Some exterior changes to look for in the Euro-spec model at the Geneva Motor Show in March include a reshaped hood, front wing endplate and rear bumper. Interior spy shots have hinted at an updated dashboard design and a simplified, less cluttered control panel with updated climate controls. Under the hood, there are quite a few power options rumored to be available - a gasoline EcoBoost with up to 123 horsepower and two turbo-diesel TDCI options, a 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter mills that would produce between 94 hp and 161 hp. Then there are new 1.5-liter diesel and 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline variants that meet regulations in China, Brazil and Russia.

Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang

Thu, Dec 4 2014

Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.
