SELLING MY 1973 FORD RANGER XLT F100 SHORT WHEEL BASE. THIS IS A SUPER STRAIGHT AND SOLID TRUCK ORIGINALLY FROM HERE IN ARKANSAS. IT IS TWO TONED LIGHT GREEN AND DARK GREEN. HAS A FRESH BUILT 351 V8 BY MEMPHIS PERFORMANCE AND A 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. HAS HEADERS, PERFORMER INTAKE, EDELBROCK AIR CLEANER WITH SPECTRE FILTER, MICKEY THOMPSON VALVE COVERS, HOLLEY 4 BARREL CARB. HAS POWER STEERING AND IS ALSO A FACTORY AIR TRUCK. I HAVE THE AC COMPRESSOR THAT WILL COME WITH THE TRUCK( JUST NEEDS HOOKED BACK UP). SHOCKS ARE NEW ALL WAY AROUND, NEW I BEAM BUSHINGS, NEW DUAL SIDE EXHAUST WITH CHROME TIPS, NICE 16 INCH POLISHED ALUMINUM PACER WHEELS.

INTERIOR IS VERY NICE WITH NEW CARPET, NEW PADDED DASH, NEW SILL PLATES, NEW WINDSHIELD WITH NEW GASKET, NEW BACKGLASS WITH NEW GASKET, NEW WEATHERSTRIPPING, SEAT HAS BEEN RECOVERED, PIONEER CD PLAYER WITH PIONEER SPEAKERS IN DOORS, GRANT GT STEERING WHEEL, B&M RATCHET SHIFTER, SUNPRO WHITE FACE 3 GAUGE SET( OIL PRESSURE, WATER TEMP, AND VOLTS), TINTED WINDOWS.

THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN REPAINTED AND I WOULD GIVE IT A 7 OR BETTER OUT OF 10. ITS NOT PERFECT BUT WITH A LITTLE TLC IT COULD BE MADE A REAL NICE TRUCK. THERE IS A SMALL CRACK IN THE PAINT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE HOOD DOWN LOW( NOTE PIC) AND A FEW CRACKS IN THE PAINT ON THE TAIL GATE IN THE CORNERS ( NOTE PICS). ITS MISSING THE THIN STRIP OF CHROME THAT RUNS AROUND THE BACK OF THE CAB ABOVE THE BED. ALSO THE FRONT TIRES ARE NICE, BUT THE REAR TIRES HAVE SOME CRACKING IN THE SIDEWALLS SO I WOULD RECOMMEND CHANGING THEM. BUMPERS ARE BOTH NICE AND STRAIGHT BUT COULD BE RECHROMED IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE IMMACULATE.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE TRUCK IN PERSON FEEL FREE TO CALL OR TEXT CHRIS AT 501-541-0889. I HAVE A CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. $500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END AND PAYMENT IN FULL REQUIRED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION END.  BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP OR MAKING SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS.  I DO HAVE THE TRUCK FOR SALE LOCALLY AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY IF NEEDED.  THANKS

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Sun, 30 Mar 2014

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.

The 2015 Ford Mustang is not so mellow in yellow

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

When we first saw the 2015 Ford Mustang, much was made of its new, more expressive color palette, which includes the return of both yellow and orange in addition to a new grayish shade, Guard. At that time, we didn't have anything to look at but a few small scale models painted in the new colors - the only Mustangs on display were in Race Red.
For its auto show debut here at in the Motor City, Ford has trotted out a couple of as-yet-unseen shades, including the striking Triple Yellow shown above. The new shade marks a return to a paint color that enthusiasts have been clamoring for, and we must say, it looks excellent under the lights of Cobo Hall.
Stat wise, there are still a number of questions we have about the redesigned Mustang. None of the three engines have had official power figures published. The same goes for pricing information, although if any loose-lipped execs let something slip in Detroit, we'll be sure to let you know. Until then, have a look at the new Triple Yellow Mustang on display at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Ford reveals concept trucks that ultimately became Atlas

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

The Ford Atlas Concept was one of the quiet success stories of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and now Ford has given us a quick glimpse as to how that creation came to be. Designers actually combined two early sketches to build the Atlas. One, called the Bullet Train, is a futuristic, aerodynamic creation, while the other, aptly named the Locomotive, features the squared off proportions we're familiar with.
Once designers settled on the truck's proportions, they began nailing down exactly which attributes they wanted the final design to have. The Concept's notched windshield originated as a forked glass roof that seamlessly transitioned into the windscreen.
Likewise, designers wanted to fit the truck's tailgate with a storage compartment for tools and a first aid kit, but settled on the dual-purpose step/cargo cradle. Interestingly enough, the concept's active aero shutter wheels actually originated in some of the earliest sketches. Check out the photos and slides here for a closer look.
