Welcome to this auction for my 1973 Ford F-100! This truck is a real looker - it gets lots of comments and "thumbs up" from passer-by Ford Truck fans.

Along with its good looks, it also is an excellent driver. It has a 351M engine (not original) and an automatic transmission. It runs down the road nice, the engine stays cool and the transmission shifts strong.

I recently drove it 500 miles pulling a car hauler (see last pic) and it did great! In fact, the only reason I'm selling the truck is because I bought a '66 Mustang Fastback GT - too many toys in the garage.

I had the brakes completely gone over (new front calipers, new pads, new rear shoes, new brake hoses) just this past spring.

The installed hitch was bought at U-haul. The radio works but there are currently no speakers, it had speakers that were sufaced mounted on the headliner (very 70's) and I removed the speakers and repaired the headliner. There are speaker slots that could be used in the original door panels.

The fog lights on the front are currently not connected. No A/C, other than the installed rear opening window! Defroster and heat work excellent.

The truck has been garaged and babied. It is an original Tennessee vehicle, and has been taken well care of. NO RUST.

Ford making Fusion production moves to challenge Camry on volume

The Ford Fusion may already beat the Toyota Camry in terms of models offered, transaction price and sales increase so far this year, but if the Fusion wants to make a run at the title of best-selling car in the US, Bloomberg reminds us that volume is key. Opening a second production line at the Flat Rock, MI assembly plant will reportedly allow Ford to produce around 350,000 Fusions annually, which compares Toyota's ability to crank out 475,000 Camrys and Honda's capacity to build around 450,000 Accords.
For the Fusion, that's an extra 100,000 units compared to the car's current pace, and the article adds that the Fusion is "Ford's best shot" to regain the passenger car sales crown - a title it (or any other US automaker, for that matter) hasn't held since the mid-1990s. Despite hiccups with recalls and fuel economy numbers, the Ford Fusion is still red hot when it comes to sales. Fusion sales are up 13 percent so far this year (compared to a 0.6 percent decrease for Camry), and its average transaction price of $26,343 is about $2,300 more than its rival from Toyota.
The Fusion's popularity has helped Ford improve its sales in California; the Dearborn-based automaker has a market share of 18 percent in the state, which is just a fraction of a percentage behind Honda. And this popularity should continue as Ford ups Fusion production and expands the model lineup even further for 2014 with a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine soon to become an option.

2015 Ford Mustang leaked in Autoweek

We would have to imagine that Ford knew it couldn't keep its 2015 Mustang under wraps for too long, and with only days to go before the pony car's official unveiling, the dam seems to be cracking. SVTPerformance.com member Screamin 40th just posted some images taken of the sixth-gen Mustang prominently featured in and on the cover of the December 9 issue of Autoweek magazine.
These images show that recent renderings we saw weren't too far off. The face is just like what we saw in spy shots a few months back, but the rear of the car features some of its more striking cues. Starting with the pronounced haunches and hidden B-pillars, the rear view of the new Mustang might be its best with the ridged, three-bar taillights, a rear diffuser and the lack of a faux gas cap, which allows the galloping pony to be an even more prominent element against the black trim.
The images also reveal a small portion of the updated interior carrying over retro themes like the deep-dish steering wheel and dual-gauge instrument cluster, but it also adds some modern tech with a big infotainment displays and a clean center stack layout. No official word on powertrain or other specs, but while we can't make out most of the magazine's text, our eyes did catch mentions of an independent rear suspension and a 200-pound weight reduction.
