Very clean 1970 Ford F100 Styleside.  Built in San Jose in October of 1969 and sold new in Los Angeles.  It has remained in southern California ever since.  Completely rust free body, not a single bubble. Newer 302 V8 with a lot of power and it is very responsive.  Modernized with an upgraded 4 speed automatic transmission so it gets good mileage on the highway, trans cooler, electric fuel pump, electronic ignition, modern front end with power disc brakes, positraction rear end, new suspension, dual batteries, dual electric cooling fans, electric start, power locks, and a lot more.  This truck is trusted to drive into the desert and everywhere else.  It has been driven a couple thousand miles in 2014 so far and it is ready for more.  I am letting it go because I got a newer Range Rover a few weeks ago and I no longer need this F100 so I am passing it on to someone who could use it.  I have obviously priced it to find a new home.  I don't want it to just sit here.  This was used as a daily driver this year for months.

Super straight body with clean quality 2 stage jet black paint. New carpet and headliner, all new window seals, and weatherstripping.  New windshield, original blue license plates, clean California title in hand and current registration through September 2014.  This is used regularly, just drove 40 miles the other day.  It has power steering and a tow package.  It has been used as a daily driver and it is ready for that.   Runs very cool and has no smells of fuel, smoke, or anything you normally smell when you are driving an old vehicle.  This feels like a newer truck all around and looks very clean up close.  Starts right up and idles perfectly.  Does not sound loud, the exhaust is quiet.  No smoking or issues at all mechanically.  True HID headlights.  This F100 is ready for anything and ready to drive anywhere.

I priced this F100 very low considering the condition.  I took many pictures and a walk around video to show it well.  Click on View All below to see all the pictures.  International buyers accepted.  Email any questions and they will be answered thoroughly and honestly.  It is ready to drive away safely.  I will work with your transporter 7 days a week for pickup.

Need for Speed movie casts Mustang in hero car role

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Dreamworks Studios, Electronic Arts and Ford Motor Company announced today that the Ford Mustang will play the lead hero car role in the upcoming Need for Speed movie, slated to hit theaters next February. Of course, the Mustang didn't audition for the role like we imagine the film's star, Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame, might have. Rather, Ford and Dreamworks struck a partnership deal that meant the Mustang could skip the casting couch. The deal will also see the film's universe populated with other Ford products (gratuitously so, we're guessing), and the automaker will also help the studio promote the video-game-turned-movie next year.
The hero car in question is a special one-off Mustang created by Ford that is making its debut at the E3 video game trade show as we speak. Powered by a supercharged V8 and apparently based on the Shelby GT500, the car's been modified with a widebody kit, 22-inch wheels, larger air intakes and twin hood nostrils. Ford also provided the film's production with an F-450 truck that will be called "The Beast" in the film's story, and a second Mustang to be used during filming as a camera car.
The Mustang's movie career is really taking off, with news of its Need For Speed casting closely following last week's release of the trailer for Getaway, a movie coming out in August that stars Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez and another Shelby GT500. In addition to Aaron Paul and a modified Mustang, the Need For Speed movie also stars Michael Keaton (cop, we're guessing) and Dominic Cooper (villain, we're guessing), and is directed by Scott Waugh, who directed the Navy SEAL film Act of Valor in 2012.

Mercury rises around sexy Cougar pack

Sat, May 30 2015

With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Since starting his Cougar collecting in 1988, Brown has become an absolute expert on the model, and he claims to have owned 400 of the Mercury pony cars in that time. Ten of them are in his collection today, not to mention a heap of spare parts in the garage. Check out some of the rarer members of Brown's fleet and allow him to tell you about them in this interesting interview from Electric Federal.

Watch this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor fly like an eagle [UPDATE]

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a very capable truck right out of the box, but "capable" has never translated into "invincible." Just ask the owner of the machine in this video. In it, the driver gets frisky with an aggressive jump with plenty of speed on his hands. The result is enough air to make Vaughn Gittin Jr. blush. As always, it's not the launch that's painful, but the re-entry. Gravity eventually asserts its dominance over the $43,630 pickup in a big way, and when it comes crashing down, it does so with a vengeance.
The impact was hard enough to set off both the alarm and multiple airbags inside the cabin. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the stunt, but we certainly wouldn't be surprised to hear that was the case. You can check out the stunt in the video below, and remember, when in doubt, back out of the throttle. Be warned, there may be some explicit/NSFW language in the clip.
UPDATE: Second video added with an even better look at the jump added below.
