1969 Ford F100

Good- Strong body all factory steel, runs strong and drives straight, no rust, solid floor boards and rocker panels as well as rear quarters and wheel wells. New front bumper and rear bumper. All trim is on the truck. Interior was updated by previous owner. Solid doors all windows function properly all lights work. Heat works as well as the a/c. Factory A/C blows cold air. New Mirrors, new rims and tires limited miles on the new tires. Manual 4-speed transmission t-18 or 19 with steel case shifts through gears perfectly. Reverse spotlight lights up where ever you are attempting to back into. Tilt steering wheel all gauges work radio is functional. Truck starts up every time can be used as a daily driver if that's what you would like although I wouldn't suggest that. 4-bbl carb msd ignition system. Manual brakes work extremely well. The carpet was replaced and is new (Black). Truck has lots of power to get through the gears quickly. 1st- Granny gear indestructible gearbox. Extremely reliable truck.

not so good- Truck was use as a farm truck for a long time and it has some dents to show for it, some dents have been popped out and filled with 3-M body filler but not all work is done. Primer is over spots that were repaired and not all primer spots are finished. Some steering play not a lot just slight wheel play. I've personally driven this truck 70 on the highway with no problems. No power steering or brakes (Factory). Could be updated if you would like. Steering column is out of a GM product replaced by the previous owner. Dash has cracks and not all speakers work with the radio. There is no headliner. The bed is showing some wear and could be replaced if you are going to fully restore the truck 35 dollar fix from NPD. Once the body work is completed it will need a paint job. Basically the truck just needs body work and a paint job. The tailgate is beat up from years of use, I have a replacement though that is in much better shape just would need to be primed before painting. (its black).

If you have any questions feel free to ask just message me and I will get back with you as soon as possible. If you would like more information regarding this truck or others like it just visit this website www.fordification.com they have all of the information you could ever hope for. Things like VIN decoding and ford truck forums from 67-72.

There is a lot of truck here and it has remained completely unrestored for 40+ years all original body and easy restoration.

Don't miss out on a great truck!

Toyota, Ford not interested in FCA merger

Mon, Jun 15 2015

Sergio Marchionne will preach the benefits of mergers to anyone who'll listen, but his calls for industry consolidation may be falling on deaf ears. At least, that is, the ears of those who the Fiat Chrysler chief would most like to bend. Not only is General Motors uninterested, but according to The Detroit News, neither are Toyota or Ford. "It's something we would not be interested in," said Toyota's North American chief Jim Lentz, at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Toyota Technical Center. "At 10 million (vehicles) we have enough scale right now to do what we need to do. There really would be no advantage for us." Toyota isn't the only one unenthused by the prospect of merging with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The Detroit News also reports that Ford, though it may yet to have been approached by Marchionne, wouldn't be interested either. "We're not a suitor for FCA," said Ford CFO Bob Shanks. "We don't see that type of opportunity as one that applies to us." With GM, Toyota, and Ford expressing disinterest in Marchionne's merger idea, the FCA chief will likely start looking elsewhere – or look for other ways to compel his primary candidate to reconsider. He may eventually find a partner – more likely in the Far East or within Europe – but it may not take the form of the major player Sergio has hoped for. Ford cranks up '32 Ford body production

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

If you're going to build your own hot rod, you'll want to start with a '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Favored by American servicemen returning from World War II, the '32 Ford remains the very icon of the hot rod to this day. The trouble is there were only so many of them made in the first place, and finding one today can be a challenge. That's where reproduction models come in.
The aftermarket is replete with companies that will sell you a fiberglass body in the form of a '32 Ford coupe, but quality can be hit or miss. So to help meet demand among hot rod builders and enthusiasts, Ford has teamed up with United Pacific Industries to offer officially licensed body shells.
Announced at the SEMA show in November, the '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe body is made from stamped steel according to original specifications from original machinery where possible or reproduced machinery built to the same original specifications where necessary. The bodies are ready to accept vintage powertrains or crate motors from the Ford Racing catalog, and join the 9,000 other parts offered in the Ford Component Sales catalog - including similar reproduction bodies available for the 1965-70 Mustang and 1940 Ford Coupe. From there, the proverbial sky's the limit.

Ford reveals automated Fusion Hybrid

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Autonomous cars may still be in their infancy, but more and more big names in the auto industry are diving in head first. Nissan is already making strides with a semi-autonomous Leaf EV and General Motors is planning to offer semi-autonomous tech by 2020. And then there's Google, doing its thing with a fleet of Toyota Prius. Now, Ford is showing off its latest automated effort, a driverless Fusion Hybrid.
Partnering with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and State Farm Insurance, the project is part of Ford's Blueprint for Mobility, the company's plan for transportation beyond 2025. "The Ford Fusion Hybrid automated vehicle represents a vital step toward our vision for the future of mobility," Chairman Bill Ford said. "We see a future of connected cars that communicate with each other and the world around them to make driving safer, ease traffic congestion and sustain the environment."
The automated Fusion features four LiDAR infrared sensors that scan the road 2.5 million times every second, using a principle similar to the echolocation used by dolphins or bats. Using the infrared light emitted by the LiDAR, the car can draw a picture of everything within 200 feet to create a map of its surroundings. According to Ford, the sensors are able to tell the difference between a paper bag and a small animal from a football field away.
