1965 FORD F100 SHORT BED PICKUP. 390 FE WITH A C6 3 SPEED AUTO. THIS TRUCK IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND RUNS AND DRIVES NICE. I USE IT FOR MY DAILY DRIVER EVERY DAY WITH NO ISSUES. NEWER AM/FM CD WITH MP3, BLUETOOTH AND REMOTE. VIPER ALARM. POWER STEERING. DRUM BRAKES ALL AROUND BUT IT STOPS STRAIGHT AND PRETTY WELL FOR THE WEIGHT. CUSTOM GREEN FLAKED PAINT INSIDE AND OUT WITH A SEMI MATTE FINISH. PINSTRIPING ON HOOD, TAILGATE AND GLOVEBOX. GREAT INTERIOR WITH MOON STEERING WHEEL,NEWER CARPET,HEADLINER AND VISORS. NICE BENCH SEAT THAT DOES HAVE SOME WEAR ON IT BUT IS STILL NICE. MEXICAN BLANKET COVER THAT IS NICE AND COMFY. B&M FLOOR MOUNTED SHIFTER. ALL GAUGES, IDIOT LIGHTS AND ELECTRICAL WORKS INSIDE EXCEPT FOR THE SPEEDO, DOES HAVE A MOON TACH THOUGH SO YOU CAN USE THAT. WIPERS, HEATER, BLOWER AND HORN ALL WORK. ALL LIGHTS FUNCTION BUT THE BLINKERS DONT CANCEL AUTOMATICALLY. BRAND NEW COKER CLASSIC WIDE WHITE WALLS ON STOCK RIMS WITH CHROME TRIM RINGS. I ALSO HAVE SOME BABY MOON HUBCAPS THAT GO WITH. TRANS WAS JUST RECENTLY FULLY SERVICED AND A NEW STARTER WAS INSTALLED WITHIN THE LAST 2 MONTHS. CERAMIC COATED HEADERS AND NEWER EXHAUST. TRUCK HAS BEEN LOWERED ABOUT 4 " FRONT AND BACK AND STILL RIDES NICE. PAINT IS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE BUT IS STILL NICE. ALL GLASS IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS. IF I WERE TO KEEP THIS, THE NEXT STEP FOR ME WOULD BE TO BAG IT, POWER DISC BRAKES AND PUT AN AFTERMARKET AC UNIT IN IT SO I COULD DRIVE IT MORE IN THE SUMMER. RUNS AT ABOUT 185 AROUND TOWN. BODY IS VERY NICE BUT NOT PERFECT. NO REAL RUST THAT I CAN FIND EXCEPT A SMALL AREA IN THE FRONT OF THE BED. CURRENTLY HAS A 64 HEADER PANEL ON IT WITH NO TURN SIGNAL HOLES. THESE HAVE BEEN MOVED DOWN TO THE BUMPER FOR A CLEANER LOOK.
EVERYBODY LOVES THIS TRUCK AND I GET ASKED ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS WHEN I AM PARKED OR SITTING AT A LIGHT. TRUCK NEEDS NOTHING EXCEPT FOR MORE CUSTOMIZATION AND A NEW DRIVER.
WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT BUT I AM IN SEARCH OF A 68-72 CONVERTIBLE CORVETTE SO THIS MUST GO TO FINANCE THAT. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. I AM AN HONEST EBAYER AND MY FEEDBACK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. THAT BEING SAID, THIS IS A 48 YEAR OLD VEHICLE SO THIS IS AN AS IS SALE WITH NO WARRANTIES SPOKEN OR IMPLIED.
A $200 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT CLOSE OF AUCTION WITH THE BALANCE DUE IN 3 DAYS. I WILL TAKE PAYPAL FOR THE DEPOSIT BUT NOT THE BALANCE. BANK TRANSFER, CASHIERS CHECK, PERSONAL CHECK OR CASH IN PERSON. TRUCK WILL NOT LEAVE MY GARAGE UNTIL FUNDS HAVE CLEARED.
I"M SURE I HAVE FORGOTTEN SOMETHING SO FEEL FREE TO EMAIL WITH ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS. THANX.

Toyota, Ford not interested in FCA merger
Mon, Jun 15 2015Sergio Marchionne will preach the benefits of mergers to anyone who'll listen, but his calls for industry consolidation may be falling on deaf ears. At least, that is, the ears of those who the Fiat Chrysler chief would most like to bend. Not only is General Motors uninterested, but according to The Detroit News, neither are Toyota or Ford. "It's something we would not be interested in," said Toyota's North American chief Jim Lentz, at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Toyota Technical Center. "At 10 million (vehicles) we have enough scale right now to do what we need to do. There really would be no advantage for us." Toyota isn't the only one unenthused by the prospect of merging with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The Detroit News also reports that Ford, though it may yet to have been approached by Marchionne, wouldn't be interested either. "We're not a suitor for FCA," said Ford CFO Bob Shanks. "We don't see that type of opportunity as one that applies to us." With GM, Toyota, and Ford expressing disinterest in Marchionne's merger idea, the FCA chief will likely start looking elsewhere – or look for other ways to compel his primary candidate to reconsider. He may eventually find a partner – more likely in the Far East or within Europe – but it may not take the form of the major player Sergio has hoped for. KBB 2013 Brand Image Awards has some obvious and oddball winners
Sat, 30 Mar 2013The sixth edition of the Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards have crowned a wide range of winners - in a couple of cases the recipient of the laurels might say more about KBB users than they do about the actual winner. Compiled from the responses of more than 12,000 shoppers on KBB.com over the past year, there are 13 categories broken into non-luxury, luxury and truck segments "representing the combined wisdom of the American car-buying public."
The award categories have been revamped this year, with some dropping off, some new ones appearing and at least one other given a new term. What isn't surprising is that Honda won Most Trusted Brand for the second year running, Best Value Brand for the third year in a row and took Best Overall Brand, which wasn't on last year's list of awards.
On our own shores, in the non-luxury categories Chrysler got Most Refined Brand and Buick took Best Value Luxury Brand. Neither one of those marques won anything in last year's Brand Image Awards, while Cadillac, which won Best Interior Design Brand and Best Comfort Brand last year - those awards disappeared this year - went home without a single accolade.
Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing
Wed, Feb 4 2015Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
