Only reason I am selling this truck, is to purchase my son a car for college.  My loss is your gain!!  This is a true cream-puff, ... I drive around town mostly on weekends, ...... it is a head turner!

Truck is a once in a lifetime find.  It has 23K ORIGINAL miles, all matching, original everything on truck or in boxes to be restored to 100% factory original!!!!!!!!!!!!  The truck even has the original headliner!!  The Paint is the original paint, and looks absolutely amazing, especially hood !!  Still has a deep, deep luster like no paint nowadays!  The truck is a second owner vehicle.  Never been wrecked, or reworked.  First owner had it in a farm where it was used as a farm tool for pulling, hauling and as a workhorse.  Truck has dings, dents and scratches as an original farm tool should (though nothing major).  Bed is the only part on this truck which needs work, it has rust in the front, and by the 2 wells.

Fields 'required' to use private aircraft, could make $5.25M as Ford CEO this year

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

Mark Fields' travels on the friendly skies will soon be a relatively personal affair, as the new CEO at Ford will be required to resume air travel via the company's private planes. Fields caught plenty of flak in 2007 for flying on the company's dime to visit his family in Florida. He's since flown commercial.
According to Ford spokesperson Susan Krusel, who spoke to Bloomberg, Fields (pictured above right, with Bill Ford, Jr. at center and Alan Mulally at left) will switch to private travel "for safety and to maximize his availability for company business." In addition to his new travel arrangements, the 53-year-old exec's salary and bonuses have been revealed.
Regulatory filings by Ford revealed that Fields, whose first day in the big chair was July 1, will receive a base salary this year of $1.25 million and he'll be eligible for $3.5 million in bonuses, both of which are lower than Alan Mulally's $2 million salary and $5.88 million in bonuses received last year. That's also lower than General Motors CEO Mary Barra's alleged $1.6-million salary and considerably less than Sergio Marchionne's $3.19-million fixed salary from Fiat. Despite falling short of other CEOs, Fields' new pay still represents a 33-percent increase over his pay as Chief Operating Officer.

Ford lowers MPG ratings on six vehicles

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Ford has announced that it will be lowering the fuel economy ratings on a number of its 2013 and 2014 model year vehicles after an error was discovered in the company's internal testing data. The EPA has been notified.
Worryingly for Ford, the vast majority of the vehicles affected are hybrids, including the C-Max, Fusion and MKZ in both hybrid and plug-in varieties (where applicable). Also covered as part of the rerating is the entire lineup of 2014 Fiesta engines, with the exception of the ST, including the turbocharged, three-cylinder EcoBoost.
The C-Max was originally rated at 47/47/47 mpg, but dropped to 43/45/40 last year and now to 40/42/37.

Ford Everest Concept shows China also has an affinity for big trucks

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

The Ford Everest Concept SUV at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show shows the future of the Blue Oval's truck line in China. While a concept for now, we're told that JMC, Ford's Chinese joint-venture partner, will build a production version sometime in the near future.
With design from Ford's Asia Pacific design team, the handsome seven-passenger SUV shows off some very muscular styling with wraparound headlights that hook into the contours of the angular trapezoidal grille. The beltline rises up the body in the rear and makes the back appear higher than the front. The rear is made from hard, chiseled contours that give the truck a very tough look. The Everest looks ready for some rough roads.
Ford is keeping the interior and mechanical details about the Everest a secret for now, but the SUV is rumored to share some components with the overseas Ranger pickup. The company has no plans to sell the truck in North America. Scroll down to read the official announcement, including the few details on its production.
