THE TRUCK SAT OVER 20 YEARS IN A OLD RUN DOWN BARN AND THE OWNER NEVER KNEW JUNKIES WAS SLOWLY TAKING IT APART. MOSTLY EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD IS GONE BUT THE BLOCK AND TRANNY IS STILL THERE. OVERALL THE TRUCK IS SOLID, I GET GREAT REPONSES FROM PEOPLE PASSING BY AND MY NEIGHBORS PERTAINING TO THE TRUCK. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. Odometer reads 47,796 (not sure how accurate)Cab floor has rust needs replacing, step on driver side entry, battery box rusted along with the section right under battery box (fender inside wheel cover passenger side) and area below rear window showing signs of rust but nothing ate through. Please see picsBed floor shows very little rust and in good shapeNO TailgateTruck has minor dents and dings and little rust but overall a good truck to restore or rat/hot rod it.As you can see the paint is ok with flaws but the truck was originally green but I was told it was restored in the 80's and was repainted mostly white. All the windows are there nothing broken or crack.Door windows are off track but will stay up.State of Georgia do not title vehicles this old therefore it will be sold to the highest bidder with a bill of sale.THE TRUCK NEEDS WORK/RUST REPAIR & TLCBuyer responsible for shipping arrangements and chargesPlease email with any questions or commentsThanks for lookingcheck my other auction I have a:1967 Buick Electra 225 4 Door Hardtop barn find for sale also!

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.
Uber hopes facilities in Detroit will help shape its autonomous future
Mon, Sep 19 2016Hot off the heels of unleashing its fleet of self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA, Uber announced plans to open a new facility in the Detroit, MI area, reports Automotive News. The new facility was announced at an event hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers in Detroit, MI. Uber's vice president of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby revealed the news, reports Automotive News. The facility is meant to help the ride-sharing company collaborate with suppliers and automakers in the area. There's no word on where Uber will build the new facility or how big it will be, as those factors have yet to be determined. Just like Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI could become another testing ground for the ride-sharing company. The latest move to open a facility in the Detroit area comes after Uber offered users in Pittsburgh the chance to ride in one of its autonomous vehicle as it looks to gain vital real-world testing. Uber is utilizing a fleet of modified Ford Fusions. Earlier this year in April, the automaker announced a partnership with Google, Lyft, Uber, and Volvo to develop autonomous cars. A new facility in Detroit would strengthen the partnership and help Uber, as well as Ford put autonomous vehicles on the road faster. Evo grabs Ford's Fiesta R5 rally car by the scruff
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Evo and host Henry Catchpole were thinking of excuses reasons to borrow the bonkers Ford Fiesta R5 rally car for a day or two, when it struck them: the car is street legal. With access to the R5, some of the world's most beautiful driving roads in the English Lake Country nearby, and a handy video crewing hanging around, the plan seemed to write itself.
Based on the resulting video, it was a good plan. Without spoiling the video for you - something we can't really do in text as the best part is listening to the rally car run - Catchpole finds the Fiesta to be sublimely quick and massively satisfying. Even taking the car for a spin on a pseudo rally stage, after leaving the English countryside, does nothing but add to his assessment of the beastly little Ford. Scroll on below to see for yourself, and enjoy the ride.
