1963 Ford F-100 stepside. This truck is almost rust free. It has a tiny place on the hood and one cab corner has already been repaired. The right fender had a dent and the previous owner tried to repair it without success, I left it that way until painting time, that will be an easy fix. The left front fender is new.
The truck is black, the previous owner was going to paint it yellow so he painted the hubs, steps, and motor yellow. A can of black will fix that.
The inside is in excellent condition. The seat is new, just back from the shop, (black seat grey trim, all leather).
I have the hood ornaments/emblems (new).
The bed is in great condition. It does need 1 board and refinishing.
Aproximately 7,000 - 7500 miles on a rebuilt 223 6 cyl. 3 speed transmission, the shifter was moved to the floor, by the previous owner who said he was having some shifting problems from the column. I installed new clutch arm bushings and a few other things. It does need new tie rod ends ( I think I have some that will fit).
The rear end is a 9" with 411 gears. I have a center section (3rd member) with 350 gears that would work better for long distant driving, (THIS 3RD MEMBER DOES NOT COME with the truck, but can be purchased).
This truck cranks right up everytime, and would make a great daily driver just as it is. Or, you could paint it, install new side window rubber, carpet or rubber mat and have a very very nice old truck for weekend drives, car shows, or drive it to work. With just a few minor things it will look and drive like new.
I have too many projects right now needing my attention, ( 6 ) others all of which need work, and some will be sold later but none are for sale now. The only reason for selling the 63 is to use the money to work on some of the others.
If you have any questions please contact me for a phone number. If you would like more pictures just ask. It can be driven if you live within driving distance.

Former Ford CEO Mulally won't run for president
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Alan Mulally will not be following his successful term as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company with a run at an even bigger presidency. Rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would make a run at the White House sprouted after his apparent dodging of a reporter's questions about a potential candidacy during a forum in Indianapolis.
"I really think it's important that we all pull together. We really need to pull together around a compelling vision for our country and a comprehensive strategy to do it and work together. We really need to do it," Mulally said at the conference, according to The Detroit News.
He's since clarified by saying, "[I'm] honored at the suggestion, but that is not a role I am considering."
eBay Find Of The Day: 1988 Saleen Ford Mustang General Tire 21R race car
Tue, 29 Jul 2014Saleen may be making headlines these days for working on the Tesla Model S, but its history and bread-and-butter is all about the Ford Mustang. The rear-wheel-drive Dearborn pony cars singlehandedly put the company on the map in the '80s. Founder Steve Saleen was already a talented American racing driver when he started the venture, and like many auto industry businesses before him, Saleen went to the track to prove his vehicles' worth. Now, there's a chance to buy one of those early racers on eBay Motors.
Saleen Mustangs raced in the Sports Car Club of America Escort Endurance Championship - a series of multi-hour races meant to challenge man and machine. Ostensibly a showroom stock class, the cars had larger wheels, tuned suspensions and other upgrades that stretched the concept slightly. Saleen found major success though, taking the championship for its class in 1987 and winning the 24 Hours of Mosport consecutively from 1986 through 1988.
According to the seller, Saleen only built eight of these cars, and this one carries the #21R serial number. They all started life as new Mustangs from Ford dealers but were immediately stripped and prepped to go racing. Beyond obvious mods like a roll cage, they featured eight-inch wide wheels in front, an inch of additional track width, stiffer suspension bushings and much more.
Ford Shelby GT350R, GT successor, F-150 Raptor and more rumored for Detroit debut
Mon, Dec 1 2014According to a pair of reports from Hearst's car mags, Car and Driver and Road & Track, Ford has a whole mess of good stuff on deck for the Detroit Auto Show in January. And it all sounds awesome. First, expect to see a hotter version of the Shelby GT350 in Detroit, likely called GT350R. Think of this as the already-hot Shelby with even more track-focused bits baked in – brakes, tires, aero, etc. Everything about the GT350 sounds great, so expect this R variant to be something seriously fierce. As R&T suggests, if the GT350 is the company's new Boss 302, the R is the Laguna Seca. But that's not even close to the biggest news. Road & Track believes a proper Ford GT replacement will debut in Detroit – a road-going version of the Le Mans GTE-class car the Blue Oval is working on for 2016. We've heard about this before, but having the street-legal car debut in Detroit would be absolutely huge news. The performance story continues, though, with R&T suggesting that the next-gen Ford F-150 Raptor will bow in Detroit. Details are scarce about what, exactly, the aluminum-bodied desert stormer will hold, but we expect good things. Finally, Ford's hot hatches might make some news in the Motor City, too. Car and Driver seems to think the all-wheel-drive Focus RS will bow in The D, and that an updated version of the Fiesta ST will also show its face. Road & Track, meanwhile, believes the Focus RS showing will be saved for a European auto show – think Geneva – and our gut feeling is to agree with the R&T theory. All of these rumors point to Ford officially announcing its dedicated performance division – like Mercedes-AMG, BMW M, and so on. We've heard reports of a new, global performance brand from the company already, with the name 999 thrown out as a possibility. In any case, if these rumblings prove to be true, there's going to be a ton to drool over from Ford in January. Stay tuned.
