THANK YOU. 1962 Ford F-100 Custom Pickup -- $33,900.00 Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’m a regular consignor at the Mecum auctions as well. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! Two years ago I opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public on Saturdays. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. We except all trades. If you’d like to be added to our VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like us on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 38 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. Description 1962 Ford F-100 Custom Pickup “Slick”
This truck is one of the most appealing classic trucks I’ve ever seen!
This truck wasn’t built to be a high end show truck. It was built to be one-of-a-kind street cruiser that would attract attention and that’s exactly what it does!
Quote from MS CLASSIC CARS detailer Chris Tansey; “This is my favorite classic truck you’ve ever owned”!
Quote from MJM Automotive Solutions owner Mike Marsella; “That 1962 Ford F-100 attracted more attention at my shop then anything you’ve had here. Everyone loved it”!
As the VIN number indicates this truck was built in August, 1961 at the St. Paul factory as a F-100 2wd with a 223 engine. Life for this truck was pretty boring until a few years ago when it was completely transformed!
The goal with the restoration of this truck was to build something that had tons of character. The character wouldn’t come from the quality of the restoration but the way the restoration was thought out!
The exterior body was completely stripped and painted in Satin Yellow. This paint is really cool because it’s truly a satin finish rather than a high gloss clear coat finish. It’s not dull like flat matte black. I had one of my body shop painters Neil Lefebvre paint the custom black side stripes and they look amazing!
Everything on the exterior was finished perfectly. These are some of the exterior touches:
• All brand new glass that was tinted just enough to give it the right look. The side glass had to custom made. The glass matches the side stripes perfectly. • The front grille and bumper were painted white. • The rear bumper was removed and the FORD letters on the tailgate were painted white and traced in black. • The bed was sprayed with Rhino liner. • The emblems and door handles are in original condition which adds the touch of patina. • It’s wrapped in chrome reverse wheels with white wall tires.
The interior has been slightly customized and works perfectly with the exterior theme. The original gauges, vents, knobs and gas tank were left original for the patina. Some of the interior features include:
• Painted dash, door panels and interior roof. The door panel’s lines and lower covers were painted black to match the black exterior stripes. • Brand new Budnick 15.5” steering wheel. • Brand new black and white bench seat. • Mack truck gas pedal. • IPod connection cord powered by an amp. It also has speakers in the doors. • Everything in the interior such as the wipers is in working order.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the 472 Cadillac V8 engine. The engine is dressed with powder coated Cadillac valve covers and custom air cleaner. It has an upgraded distributor with Livewire yellow wires. This engine starts and runs great!
The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator and is coupled to a turbo 400 automatic transmission!
It’s equipped with a custom exhaust that sounds great!
It’s also equipped with power steering and power brakes!
The undercarriage is very clean. My shop actually lightly restored a lot of the undercarriage including pulling the transmission which we replaced seals and painted, painted the headers and exhaust system, etc. This truck has NO AIR BAGS! The truck has had many modifications including the following:
• GM front end. • Body was channel over the frame. • Frame was modified, recessed and powder coated black. • Fender wells were raised to allow for more wheel travel. • Bed floor was raised.
“The 1962 Ford F-100 Custom pickup you’re about to witness is truly a one-of-a-kind. As I mentioned above this truck draws tons of attention and everyone loves it! It’s hard to describe but certain classic vehicles just work and this truck is one of them. The exterior color is very different and slick. The custom black side stripe and Ford tailgate letters really adds the extra touch. The new tinted glass matches the theme. The reverse chrome wheels with white wall tires work perfectly. The exterior theme flows right into the interior with the painted dash and door panels, white and black bench seat and new Budnick 15.5” steering wheel. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the Cadillac 472 V8 engine. The engine starts and runs great. Its dresses with powder coated Cadillac valve covers that look really nostalgic. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator. The undercarriage is very clean and has many modifications. If you’re looking for a really cool and nostalgic pickup with some “Rat Rod” flavor you’ve found it. This is a very special truck that is truly a one-of-a-kind. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – The Owner
Inspection Report "Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. We’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 250 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that ALL the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear were not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchases all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answers all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you.
If you've read the introduction tab or visited myr website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.
Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I'lll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Thank you for the opportunity! " Why buy from MS Classic Cars? What makes MS CLASSIC CARS different from other classic car dealers and from vehicles being marketed privately on the market for sale?

* Assistance with transportation once the sale is completed.
* Easy transaction from start to finish. Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal. Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro |

Ford C-Max Commercial Brings Cadillac 'Poolside' Ad Down To Earth
Thu, Mar 27 2014If we had tried to predict the first video response to the controversial Poolside video for the Cadillac ELR, we would not have thought it would center on compost. But, hey, it's always nice to be reminded that the real world is sometimes better than fiction. Instead of the chic swagger of 'Poolside,' 'Anything Is Possible' is all about getting dirty. The new short in question is called Upside: Anything Is Possible and it promotes two things: Detroit Dirt and the Ford C-Max Energi. As in the ELR ad, Ford's plug-in C-Max only makes an appearance at the tail end of the spot, but instead of the chic swagger of Poolside, Anything Is Possible is all about getting dirty. The ad stars Pashon Murray, co-founder of Detroit Dirt, which takes natural waste from around Detroit, composts it into soil and then spreads that around "forgotten parcels" of Detroit to create urban farms. Detroit Dirt gets its bio-waste from a lot of sources, including the Detroit Zoological Society (all that herbivore manure has to go somewhere), Ford and General Motors, but this particular ad was the idea of Ford's PR agency, Team Detroit. It was a frenetic shoot, filmed with an LA-based director right after a big winter storm blew through Detroit, and Murray couldn't be happier with the result. "This was Ford Motor Company pushing my story, letting me tell the story that I believe in," Murray tells AutoblogGreen. "I get to help push this car and I get to tell my story." She says that the Team Detroit and Ford had to agree on the message, "from my understanding, [YouTube] is where they wanted to start, not where they wanted to finish." The ad is already getting a positive response on Twitter, so we won't be surprised if it shows up in more places soon. "It's not saying Ford is better than GM. It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." As Detroit Dirt has off-screen support from both GM and Ford, it's unsurprising to hear Murray say that the video "is not a rivalry thing." She notes that the ad agency Team Detroit came to her and offered to tell the Detroit Dirt story using the framework of the GM ad. "It's a parody on this commercial, but it's not saying Ford is better than GM," she said. "It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." What is that story? It's about urban farming, recovery and recycling. Murray tells us that for the last seven or eight years, she's been dedicated to sustainability.
Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow
Wed, Mar 16 2016Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
