1960 Ford F-100 truck. It shifts and it drives good. The motor was rebuilt several years ago by the previous owner and runs and sounds great with no problems. It has 17 inch Pro-Comp black rims and the tires have about 80 percent tread left. It has power steering, drum brakes, the carpet is new as is the dash carpet. The seat is not original to the truck, but is in good condition. I have a Mexican green blanket over the seat now to cover up a couple of tears on the bottom seat. Some of the items I have replaced are the water pump, distributor, the rear back glass with new rubber molding, new battery and I had the carb rebuilt. The interior is green and is in great condition (see pictures). The color is not original on the truck as the VIN shows a Blue color code. Here are the things it needs. It needs all 4 shocks, front window wiper arms, the driver and passenger door glass and window felt. The e-brake is not working and it needs both sun visors. Also, the heater is disconnected and I have never used it (Its always warm here in Arizona and never needed to hook it up). Overall this is a great truck for being almost 55 years old and is not perfect. But, if your like me and love these old classics (which are getting really hard too find) and want something that was built back in an age where there was style, simplicity and strength to the vehicles that were built - then this is for you. I'm selling it because I just have too many toys and I need to get rid of a few. Any questions just email. Thanks

Ford Mustang returning to Australia in 2016

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Australia's Herald Sun newspaper has reported that the next-generation Ford Mustang is heading Down Under in 2016, just as Ford is hanging the "Closed for Good" sign on its Australian manufacturing operations and sending the Falcon to its grave. Ford hasn't offered any official word on the matter, but the paper says that Ford's global VP of sales and marketing, Jim Farley, is flying to Australia to make the announcement himself.
While Ford converted Mustangs in the early 2000s from left-hand to right-hand drive for the Australian market and then sold them at high prices, it's been almost five decades since Ford imported a dedicated right-hand-drive Mustang to Oz. The arrival of the global model specifically made for places like Australia and the UK means Ford will also be able to offer them at better prices than the converted models; the Herald Sun says the price is expected to be "close to $50,000."
And that's for one of the "V8 performance models," which are the only ones Australia will get; Ford apparently won't send the turbocharged four cylinder or the V6. The Aussies could find out in a month from now whether this rumor is true. We will all find out what this Mustang fuss is about when the car debuts at next year's New York Auto Show.

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.
