What I have here is a 1959 Ford f100 Fleet Side Custom Cab which I believe to be mostly original. I bought this truck on ebay from a gentleman that said he purchased the truck from from a guy who had it in a barn, I believe that to be true. The body is straight with some surface rust but overall is very solid. Engine is a 292 v8 that starts right up and runs like a new one. The truck has been converted to dual exhausts and sounds great. (watch wideo). THe transmission works great and it has a 3 on the tree shifter, fun to drive. The interior is in very good shape for a truck of this age. it has the original radio in it which israre. Makes me think the truck had been in storage for some time. The tail gate is not original to the truck but is flawless. The grill is nice and not bent up and the other chrome is is decent shape. The tires are good and the wheels have a set of ford hub caps on them that i do not believe to be original to the truck but look fine. The oil has been changed, the front brakes relpace, by me. Now what it needs: it needs a radio antena, a right front wiper blade and and both door glass panels have a crack where someone slammed the door to hard. This truck is a candidate for a complete restore as the sheet metal is in great shape as well as the mechanical. Completely restored this truck will fetch 20k easy will be a reall heard turner. Drive it like it is and it is still a head turner.
Now, why am i selling it? Well, my wife dont want me to:-) She loves old cars and trucks: My daughter and her husband are in process for adopting a child. Our family has been donating yard sales stuff to help raise money to offset the cost. As I understand it is 50K via a agency in Texas so every little bit helps. I plan to sell this truck and contribute some of the proceeds to additionally help them financially.
The truck is availble to see prior to bidding if you would like. Any additional questions call me at 3364074963, my name is Mike.

Next Shelby Mustang to wear GT350 nameplate
Fri, 21 Jun 2013Earlier this month, rumors started to swirl 'round the web about the next-generation Ford SVT Mustang - the halo version of the all-new 2015 'Stang seen testing in the gallery above. Originally, we heard that the Shelby GT500 moniker would be dumped in favor of "a name you're familiar with," which some sources guessed could mean a return of the Cobra nameplate.
That might not be correct. According to Road & Track, citing a report from Mustangs Daily, the new range-topping Mustang will bring back the Shelby GT350 name - currently used on an aftermarket version of Ford's Pony produced by Shelby American (take a look at our recent Quick Spin of that car). Expect the new GT350 to be quite a bit different than the current GT500 - it will be all motor, using a V8 that's derived from the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote engine (though it will no doubt have a higher displacement). The GT350 will be a lot more powerful than the next Mustang GT, which is expected to offer something like 450 horsepower, but won't be quite as absurd as the 662-horsepower GT500 we currently enjoy.
The Shelby GT350 will reportedly bow with the rest of the new Mustang range at the 2014 New York Auto Show, which coincides exactly with the original Mustang's debut at the New York World's Fair in 1964. If that seems far out, don't worry, we'll be seeing the rest of the 2015 Mustang range before then, but Road & Track reports that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show stage will be reserved for the reveal of the next Ford F-150 pickup.
Watch Tanner Foust hustle the Fiesta ST 'round the 'Ring
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The last time we saw Tanner Foust at the Nürburgring he was sloshing an SVT Raptor from kerb to kerb. Sticking with Ford but swapping keys, this time the drift champion and Top Gear USA host goes to the opposite end of the manufacturer's tuner garage and plucks a Fiesta ST for 'Ring duty.
The 179-horsepower front-wheel-driver acquits itself well by the end of the video. But be warned, Foust doesn't set a 'Ring time and it's shot like a commercial... because that's what it is. Still, you can enjoy all two minutes and 31 seconds of it below.
Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.
