Here is a one of a kind rust free 1953 Ford F100 Barn find. A 74 year old man parked it in his lean two on the side of his barn 30 years ago. He told me that it sat too low for him to drive around on his bumpy farm. It is an all original numbers matching truck. It has a new clear Texas Title. Everything is there including the original heater box, and bed wood. This truck is in awesome shape, the floors are 100% solid with the original red paint. The windows roll up and down and even has the original ignition key. There are no rust holes anywhere and has an awesome patina look; just wet sand it and matte clear...or would be an awesome candidate for a restoration. Even the front and window frames are rust free. The engine is a 215 that turns by hand and is 100% complete. I just picked it up this week. You can get this motor running, redo the brakes/fuel system, and be on the road. Call Trevor at 757-813-0575...I am in San Antonio.

On Apr-28-13 at 19:54:51 PDT, seller added the following information:
I have the passenger side headlight bezel...I just forgot to put it back on for the pictures. I also have the Grill and side mirror as well; I just removed them to give it a cleaner look for the pictures. I wet sanded some areas a little bit to see what would happen. I did the passenger side of the grill, the hood, the front and rear fenders on the driver's side. Doing that really brings out the patina and smooths out the roughness. If I do not sell this truck, I am going to wet sand the entire truck and spray a matte clear over it to preserve the awesome rustic look. Good luck bidding

Ford issues six recalls covering 101,000 vehicles for multiple issues
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Ford is announcing six separate recalls for a variety of issues affecting a dozen models and a total of 100,610 vehicles in North America. However, according to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, "None of them have caused accidents or injuries." Half of them cover fewer than 1,000 cars.
The largest recall covers 92,022 North American examples (about 83,250 in the US) of some models of the Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Ford Interceptor, Flex and Lincoln MKT from the 2013 and 2014 model years; the 2012-2014 Edge and the 2014 Lincoln MKX. All of them have a potential issue with the halfshaft on the right side that might not be fully seated and could move outward over time. If it shifts too far, the models may no longer be able to drive, and the condition could also allow the vehicles to roll away, even when in Park. Dealers will inspect the shaft to make sure it's seated and will replace the part if necessary.
The next-largest recall covers 5,264 North American examples (4,867 in the US) of the Ford F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis from the 2011-2014 model years. It's possible that an electrical junction box can corrode in areas with salty roads and short circuit. The problem could potentially cause a fire. Dealers will replace the box with an improved design.
2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.
