2005 Ford Explorer Advance Trac Rsc 4-door 4.0l Eng on 2040-cars
Bronx, New York, United States
Up for auction is my 2005 Ford Explorer, 72791 Original miles, 4 door, automatic transmission, am/fm/cd radio, power windows, power brakes, power locks, cold air conditioning, cruise control, 4.0 Litre SOHC V-6 engine. Former city vehicle that was well maintained. Clean New York State Title in my name. Black exterior, grey interior & grey fabric seats. Has HD tow package. Large front grill guard, new headlights, new front tires.
They tried to remove the city stickers from the truck & scratched it up. They then put some white paint over the scratches to hide them. The truck was covered with white paint all around when I got it, I have removed most all of the white paint except on the passenger front door as you can see in the pic, but by the time the auction is over, all the white paint on the door should be gone. I was going to fix the truck up but as you can see from some of the pics, we had a long & bad winter here & had lots of snow & the weight of the snow caved in the roofs on my garage & shed. Under that shed is a 1964 Impala Convertible & I have to get that out & ready for the summer & need the money to redo the roofs & fix the convertible so a few vehicles will have to go. My bad luck could be you gain. Its a good low mileage, low priced truck compared to the others listed here. Please check back as I will soon be listing a 2002 Taurus with 79425 miles, 95 dodge van with 86600 miles, 2004 Taurus with 62452 miles, 2001 chevy cab & 1/2 silverado pick up, 1999 ford ranger cab & 1/2 pick up , 1969 Buick Skylark 2 door , 1965 impala convertible project , a 1962 Impala 4 door running project & a 1964 Impala 4 door project.. Im not looking to get rich on the cars but just trying to get my money back to use the money for other things. Selling as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees. You are more than welcome to come by & bring your mechanic to look over the truck or other vehicle . I will not ship the vehicle but I will assist with loading on this end. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. There is a 100. deposit due within 24 hours after the end of the auction via paypal. no exceptions. I read the book " computers for dummies" & could not figure it out, but I was still able to set up a pay pal account & pay for items online, so if I can do it, you can do it. . The balance of the funds are to be paid by money order or check after clearance by my bank or by cash at pick up. If you have less than 10 positive feedback , then contacted me first or I will cancel your bids , block you from all of my future auctions & notify ebay on you. Now for the Scammers:::: I will not accept your or your clients check & give you back the balance. If you want to buy the truck for your client, then you buy it & sell it to them. I will not release the vehicle or the paperwork till the vehicle is paid in full. Im sorry if your truck happens to be in the area before the check clears. All checks including cashiers & certified checks must first clear my bank before the vehicle or the paperwork is released. Once you have paid for the vehicle in full, you can ship the vehicle to any county that you want since you the winning bidder are responsible for all shipping costs. I will assist with loading onto the flatbed or tow truck on this end. |

Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.
Ford Focus ST, Fiesta ST buyers to get free Octane Academy driving school
Thu, 01 Aug 2013The Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST have created plenty of excitement in the sport compact segment, and Ford is looking to make sure that owners are driving and enjoying their cars to the best of their abilities. As an added bonus for buying one of these sporty hatchbacks, Ford will provide a complimentary ST Octane Academy session to be held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
Attendees will be responsible for travel and lodging, but Ford will provide the driving school free of charge. Included in this two-day trip, ST owners will get class instruction and driving instruction in prepped Focus ST and Fiesta ST models on the track and autocross course. Some karting action will also be involved as will a tour of Ken Block's Hoonigan Racing headquarters located nearby. If this doesn't sound like enough fun, there is also an optional day of activities that includes some more track time in a Mustang GT and off-road instruction in an F-150 SVT Raptor.
Ford told us that those who have already purchased a Focus ST or Fiesta ST will still be able to attend the performance driving school, but the press release, which is posted below, makes it sound like it applies to original owners only. Ford has yet to announce its schedule for the ST Octane Academy or prices for additional activities or guests.
Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant
Tue, Jun 17 2014How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.
