RELISTING DUE TO NON PAYING BUYER!!!
UP FOR AUCTION TODAY WE ARE OFFERING A 2002 FORD EXPLORER XLT WITH LEATHER AND ALL. THE CAR DOES HAVE A PENNSYLVAIA SALVAGE TITLE DUE TO A WRECK. IT WAS HIT ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND HAS DAMAGED FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN BOTH DOORS, ROCKER PANELS, AND REAR BUMPER COVER. THIS IS WHAT I CAN SEE JUST BY LOOKING AT IT BUT BE YOUR OWN CHOICE BY THE PICTURES. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY
THE EXPLORER STARTS AND RUNS GOOD AND I HAVE DRIVIN IT AROUND THE LOT AND IT DOES GOOD. IT HAS A V6 4.0 ENGINE IN IT WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON IT HAS 180,420 MILES ON IT. IT IS 4X4 AND THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH PLENTY OF TREAD LEFT. THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES OFF AND ON NOT SURE WHAT THAT IS ABOUT.
THE INTERIOR IS IN FAIR CONDITION IT HAS POWER WINDOWS AND A SUN ROOF. I DIDNT SEE ANY RIPS ON THE SEATS BUT DOES SHOW NORMAL LEATHER WEARING. THE A/C BLOWS COLD TOO!!!.
THIS DOES HAVE A PA SALVAGE TITLE, SO TO GET IT BACK ON THE ROAD THE REPAIRS HAVE TO BE DONE AND THEN INSPECTED(AT LEAST IN PA). IN PA IT IS PRETTY EASY TO GET THE SALVAGE TITLE TO A RECONSTRUCTED TITLE SO I CAN BE PUT BACK ON THE ROAD. I JUST DID ON AND ALL WE DID WAS FIXED IT AND THEN TOOK IT TO AN INSPECTIONS SHOP AND THEY FILLED THE PAPER THAT THE LOCAL DMV GAVE ME AND WE WERE DONE. IT WAS SIMPLE!!!!

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
Check out both the Mustang 1 Concept and first production 1964.5 Mustang above and below.
Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost sales robust in early going
Tue, 13 May 2014Okay, okay, okay, so I was just a smidge wrong. Those that read my review of the Ford Fiesta with the new 1.0-liter, EcoBoost engine will know that while I really enjoyed the torquey little three-cylinder, I was concerned that Ford's decision to force 1.0-liter owners into a manual transmission, steel wheels and one trim level might hurt sales of the new engine. I was also concerned that the promised 45-mile-per-gallon highway rating wouldn't be enough to tempt buyers into trying an engine that's so far outside of what the general public is use to. My concerns, though, seem to have been for naught.
While not doing a booming business on the triple-equipped Fiesta, Ford is seeing a take rate of four to eight percent per month in the engine's first few months on sale. Now, four to eight percent might not sound like a lot - if, like last year, the Fiesta sells around 71,000 units, there'd be barely 5,600 1.0-liter models on the road. It is also small potatoes relative to the take rate on EcoBoost-equipped vehicles across the Ford range, which US sales analyst Erich Merkle estimates to be roughly 35 to 40 percent of retail sales. Still, according to The Detroit News, the 1.0-liter is getting adopted at roughly the same rate as the sparkling Fiesta ST, which should be a solid indication of just how well this little engine is doing.
The 1.0-liter's success "really speaks volumes, not just to what we're doing with the Fiesta, but with EcoBoost in general," Merkle told Autoblog.
2015 Fisker-Galpin Rocket Quick Spin [w/video]
Fri, Aug 21 2015There is no shortage of fast Mustangs these days. Roush and Saleen will tune your ordinary 'Stang into something really special. Ford itself offers hot coupes like the new Shelby GT350. Don't even get me started on the endless aftermarket catalogs full of bolt-on whats-its and performance upgrades. Standing out within the huge crowd of tuned Mustangs is hard to do. But you'll definitely notice this one. "I always wanted to do a Mustang," Henrik Fisker told me as we walked toward his latest creation, the Rocket, parked outside the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, CA. The man knows a thing or two about design, after all. He penned the BMW Z8, as well as the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage. But this Rocket is, well, ugly. The rear end isn't totally terrible, and those 21-inch wheels are sort of cool, but taken as a whole, it looks like it swallowed something it doesn't like the taste of. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder – or perhaps, the creator – so we'll let Mr. Fisker explain why the car looks the way it does. See the video below for his brief design walkaround. If you can get past the looks, there's a world of performance to unleash, thanks to the boys at Galpin Auto Sports – the same folks responsible for the GTR1 I drove last year. The Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 gets a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger that improves output to 725 horsepower (the torque figure isn't available), and the car's suspension has been thoroughly reworked to help put all that grunt to the ground. It's very good, yet very familiar. Let me explain. Driving Notes Like the stock Mustang, it's really easy to drive. The car fires up with a growl, you move the shifter into first gear, and the action of engagement is as solid as it is in the normal 5.0-liter car. Both the clutch and throttle have a progressive action, so it's super easy to launch the Rocket (sorry). Once you get going, there's a ton of power to unleash. It doesn't smack you in the face right up front, though – the power delivery is smooth and linear. Easy to manage, too, thanks to that slick six-speed manual transmission. Credit Ford (and Getrag) for making a manual that's able to handle so much extra grunt. That said, the Rocket feels like your typical fast Mustang. It goes like hell in a straight line and there isn't a ton of steering feel. Galpin retuned the electronic power-assisted steering, but it's still too light considering the added power of the car.
