Hello and welcome to our auction. We are Berry Good Auto Sales. A licensed Michigan Dealership. We regularly take vehicles on trade and usually they go to the auction. This means the vehicles have to be transported to auction, someone has to show up on auction day to represent them, and if they don't sell they have to be transported back. We decided to try this a different way. We are going to offer trade-ins on Ebay at absolute sale, no reserve. These vehicles come in varying conditions, but we will describe the condition completely, and if we miss anything, just ask. This is true wholesale to the public. A lot of places will say they wholesale to the public which just means they make 2,000.00 profit instead of 3,000.00. This is really simple. We put the cars up, describe them, and you pay what you want! So if you have any questions please contact us, we are always available to answer anything. My oh my. 2010 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 in great shape with no reserve! This is the truck I have been driving for a while. These are 50,000 new and there is a reason. They are big, they can pull any toy you want, they seat 8, and they look good doing it. This truck is the Eddie Bauer which means you get leather power(driver) seats. Electronic dual zone climate control with rear heat and a/c, 18" alloy wheels, upgraded stereo with cd, 5.4L V8 with 310 HP, automatic transmission, shift on the fly 4x4, factory tow rated up to 9200lbs, power folding third row, power tailgate, power windows, locks, cruise, 2 tone paint, and keyless entry. This Expedition runs and drives great, it is very smooth for such a big ladder frame suv. I think this is the best color combo you can get in these, and I wouldn't have any hesitation selling this to my mother, daughter, or anyone. It is a nice one. Lets start outside. The exterior of this Expedition is very nice. Other than a couple touched up scratches and the odd door ding, which I would consider normal wear for a 2010, there is nothing major to report here. The paint shines nicely, the wheels look good other than very minor curb in a couple of places. The glass is all clean, and I would say this is average to above average for the year and miles. It is a looker, and the pictures aren't hiding anything. Inside you have the same story. This does have 120k on it so obviously you can see the usual wear marks you get on leather seats. No rips or tears, and the drivers seat is actually the only one I would say is normal wear, the other seats I would put at above average. The floors are clean, and other than needing a good detail to look amazing, its a very clean truck. The dash panels and door panels are all clean and in good shape. All of the buttons work, and the stereo sounds great. The a/c is ice cold and the heat is hot. Mechanically its easy to describe as well. Nice. The engine runs strong, sounds great. The transmission shifts great, and it goes down the road smoothly. The brakes stop strong, and the tires are about 50%. The 4x4 works good, and there are no trouble lights on. Like I said before, I wouldn't hesitate to sell this to anyone or drive it anywhere, which for the last few months I have. So that's it, pretty straight forward on this one. No laundry lists or stories. Just a great SUV with plenty of life left that you can get a killer deal on. Please ask if I didn't cover anything you are interested in. I try to note anything I would like to know myself, but everyone has unique questions and we are always available to answer them. Please remember that as with all our vehicles, this is sold as-is but warranties are available. You should expect to do maintenance on these vehicles as recommended by the manufacturer. I don't think it needs anything, but Ford recommends like fluid changes and the like at certain mileage. Also it is 4 years old with over 100k. I described it as nice, and it is, but please don't expect showroom new. I don't want to mislead anyone. As a licensed dealer, if you are a Michigan resident we mist collect 6% sales tax, title fee, and registration fees. We do not charge a doc fee. Shipping is your responsibility but we will help as much as we can. This has a clean title, and will be sold to the last bidder. This truck has a NADA book value of 24,500! The last bidder will own it. Good luck and happy bidding! |

Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
Barrett-Jackson 2014: First production 2015 Ford Mustang earns $300k for JDRF [w/video]
Sat, 18 Jan 2014We've almost become immune to the huge dollar amounts that collectible cars earn for charity at Barrett-Jackson. To wit, $300,000 for the first production 2015 Ford Mustang initially didn't seem like very much money. In reality, though, it's probably about 10 times the actual asking price for the car, and we're pleased to report that 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
According to Ford, the car's winning bidder will get to "choose a fastback with manual or automatic transmission, and any interior, exterior and stripe color combination offered by Ford on the all-new Mustang." Power will come from a slightly revised version of the well-known 5.0-liter V8 engine that will produce "more than 420hp and 396 pound-feet of torque."
We snapped live images of the 2015 Mustang prototype that Ford had on display here at Barrett-Jackson, and you can check them out above. The official auction description, along with a video of the auction as it happened live, is below.
Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.
