Hello you are bidding on a nice 2008 Ford Expedition Limited Funkmaster Flex edition. The vehicle sustained fresh water damage, the vehicle came from KY. The vehicles fluid and been flushed and refilled, also also all engine related filters have been changed. The vehicle runs and drives great. The power windows work, power seats work, dash lights come on, interior lights come on, ac control panel lights up and comes on. Needs new Fan , there maybe some modules that you have to replace that got wet, but the good thing is there are alot of wrecked ford expeditions in the salvage yards you can get good parts off of. The vehicles leather is in great shape, just needs cleaned, the same goes with the carpet. The vehicle is coming with a KY water damaged salvage title. We are not responsible if any of the above items that are said to be working quit working after vehicle is picked up. The vehicle is being sold as is water damaged is for sale locally and we do reserve the right to end the auction early. The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo, plans merchandise
Tue, 26 Mar 2013The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old this year, and this is the logo that will announce the milestone occasion on a special line of merchandise. The graphic is the result of an internal design competition, and Ford will give 50 different companies the license to use it on traditional logo merchandise like shirts and watches, along with some untraditional items like pinball machines.
Ford is going to begin the celebrations at this week's New York Auto Show and continue them throughout the year, but April 17 is the official birthday of the the pony car that just won't quit. You can expect to start seeing anniversary merchandise in the next couple of weeks.
Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
