This is a One Owner vehicle, was owned by Ward County, North Dakota - the County that Minot resides in. I am not sure; but I think it may have been some sort of police vehicle. Shouldn't have been Highway Patrol; as title does not say North Dakota State; but rather Ward County.
The County, same as State; has a very comprehensive maintenance program & these vehicles are all maintained & serviced, tuned etc. on a regular, rigid schedule. The sticker on the windshield says it has another 1100 or 1200 miles to go before oil change is due.
The rear seat appears to be leather; the front seats are cloth. It has black rubber mats. As far as I can tell, everything works. I have tried all the power windows, locks, tilt wheel, radio, cruise control, 4 wheel drive, heater, air conditioner etc; & have found nothing yet that doesn't function proper. The only damage I can see is the crack / damage to the grey plastic on Right Hand End of Rear Bumper, a small crease in right rear door & worst part is the paint bubbling & coming loose on the tail gate; mostly around the handle above the license.
My Sister owns a company, and one of her vehicles, a 2002 Ford Explorer, was totalled on icy roads this spring. She needed another vehicle before this happened; so I went to the auction & purchased 3 vehicles, as I did not know for sure what she wanted. She opted to take a Chevrolet Suburban & a Ford Explorer that I got at same auction; but did not have the funds for all 3 so I have this left; & have no use for it.
When I bought it; it didn't run quite right; had very little power etc. so I replaced a plugged up Catalytic Converter on the LH side; the RH side checked clear & good. I also installed all 8 new spark plugs, & checked things like belts, hoses, air filter etc; everything was good. Spark plugs were not wore very bad either; they would have gone a long time yet but being I had them out I just replaced them. Have run computer analysis since driving it some after repairs; no codes are coming up & it seems to start & run fine now.
The tires are still useable; I would say front ones have maybe 20 - 30% tread left; rear ones maybe 10 - 15%.
The vehicle does have a clear & open title, waiting for a new owner.
I can send more photos or answer any questions. This is priced way below book; as I bought it right & just need to move it; & get my funds back.
I also collect cars no one else wants, such as Hudson, Kaiser, Studebaker, Jeep, AMC, Packard, etc. & have a Lot of Jeeps & parts, if anyone would like to do some trading. I am also going to the State of Ohio the end of July with an empty trailer, to get an AMC Gremlin I bought in case anyone needs it or something else hauled East.
Bid with confidence on this, I buy a lot of cars & know there are a LOT of liars out there; I have been "Had" by several Ebayers on cars, so I know what it feels like. I do not operate that way. I also got a couple AMC's from San Diego in Jan 2012 that were Excellent, much better than expected; but also got a 49 Hudson from Pa that the guy blatently lied about on just about everything - & he is even a collector car jockey that belongs to AACA!!
I also have this listed for sale locally; so if sells locally I will have to figure out how to end the auction sooner. Thanks for looking!
This is also a Ford EXPEDITION, NOT an Explorer. There appears to be an area in Ebay that keeps saying Explorer; not sure how or where it got it from & it won't let me into that feild to change it.

Ford to kick off F-150 campaign during College Football Playoff
Tue, Dec 30 2014The long-awaited inaugural College Football Playoff will feature the nation's best college teams, with the Oregon Ducks taking on the Florida State Seminoles, and Alabama Crimson Tide facing some team from Ohio. On top of that, though, it'll also see the launch of the very first advertising campaign for the 2015 Ford F-150. Viewers from across the country will see a trio of ads featuring the all-aluminum truck, with two half-minute spots and a full 60-second commercial, all voiced by Denis Leary, touting the F-150's feature set and towing capacity, but passing on mentioning the new truck's class-leading fuel economy. That, Automotive News reports, isn't a miscue by Ford. The company simply didn't have enough time between the EPA's fuel economy announcement and the 2014-2015 Bowl Season to prepare a spot. Expect plenty on the F-150's fuel efficiency in future spots. Interestingly, though, AN is reporting future F-150 advertising won't include a Super Bowl appearance. Ford has made the decision to focus its new truck ads on college football rather than during the NFL championship. "From our point of view, there's no bigger stage to debut the F-150 creative than the College Football Playoff," Keith Koeppen, Ford's US marketing communications boss, told AN. "It's so closely aligned with the passions of our customer." It's those passions that are pushing Ford to kick off its ad campaign for a new truck so much earlier. Speaking to AN, Doug Scott, Ford's truck marketing manager, said that the automaker typically doesn't begin ad campaigns until its dealers have at least a fifty-fifty mix of old and new models, but that it's pushing the 2015 F-150's ads to fit with the college football playoffs. While Ford's focus is on the two semifinal playoff games on New Year's Day and the National Championship Game on January 12, the ads will actually air for the first time on New Year's Eve, when the TCU Horned Frogs face off against the Ole Miss Rebels in the Peach Bowl. The three spots will also be shown during other bowl games, as well. This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars
Tue, 25 Feb 2014The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.
Mark LaNeve named head of Ford US sales and marketing
Thu, Jan 8 2015Ford continues to rework the positions of its top marketing executives as Jim Farley moves to take over the Blue Oval in Europe and Stephen Odell becomes head of global sales. The latest shift brings Mark LaNeve in as the new vice president of US marketing, sales, service and dealer relations, effective February 1. LaNeve replaces John Felice, who is retiring. Felice was with the automaker for the last 30 years and held his most recent job since November of 2013. In addition to coordinating marketing and sales, LaNeve's other duty is to build "innovative new digital communications and transforming the retail experience for customers," according to the automaker's press release announcing the change. He reports to both Odell and Joe Hinrichs, Ford's boss of the Americas. LaNeve has a long history in the auto industry. He spent a portion of his early career with Cadillac but eventually was hired as the CEO of Volvo Cars North America. He also headed up US marketing at General Motors for several years in the 2000s. Since 2012, LaNeve has been the chief operating officer at Global Ford Team, which is responsible for the company's worldwide advertising. There's an interesting challenge ahead of LaNeve in leading the Blue Oval's US marketing and sales in 2015. Ford was the bestselling auto brand here in 2014 but overall sales fell about 1.1 percent. According to Automotive News, the company's market share dropped to 14.9 percent, a one-percent reduction and the lowest level since 2008. Read below for the automaker's official announcement of LaNeve's new job.
