I must sell this vehicle due to health reasons. Just installed new Firestone A/T tires less than 2000 miles ago. Professionally installed JVC AM/FM/CD/DVD player with Ipod and mp3 auxillary jacks, new premium speakers . Has Bluetooth and mobile phone technology, has GPS, setup for Sirius, Pandora, etc. Third row seats removable to provide huge cargo capacity, I have had a full sized bed, Box springs and a Washer and Dryer at the same time! seating for 7 people comfortably. It has well maintained 5.4L V8 engine, had coil packs replaced last year, just as standard maintenance. Only trouble I have had was I had to change the fuel pump last spring. I no longer have to haul around a bunch of kids for team sports anymore and my back surgery makes it nearly impossible to step up to the lighted step rail, so I need to sell this great vehicle. Has Hitch receiver and tow brakes control.
Known defects are a hole in plastic grill hidden behind the license plate in pictures, was going to replace grill with better looking chrome type. Has crack in top of console in front seating area, can be replaced but again, my health has stopped me from doing it. Has one paint chip on right front fender, see pictures.
Has an engine chip by Edge Products with 4 settings, normal, towing, transmission only, and Full Race (high Octane gas required). Normally gets between 15 and 19 mpg, 4 wheel drive works perfectly and never gets stuck in the snow or ice. Has rear seat AC and heating, power jacks for the kid's electronics and stuff.

Former Ford CEO Mulally won't run for president
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Alan Mulally will not be following his successful term as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company with a run at an even bigger presidency. Rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would make a run at the White House sprouted after his apparent dodging of a reporter's questions about a potential candidacy during a forum in Indianapolis.
"I really think it's important that we all pull together. We really need to pull together around a compelling vision for our country and a comprehensive strategy to do it and work together. We really need to do it," Mulally said at the conference, according to The Detroit News.
He's since clarified by saying, "[I'm] honored at the suggestion, but that is not a role I am considering."
Ford's Farley apologizes for saying Blue Oval tracks customers with GPS
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Ford marketing head honcho Jim Farley made waves at CES this week by telling show attendees, "We know everyone who breaks the law, we know when you're doing it." according to a report by Business Insider. Farley continued by saying, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone."
Farley has since amended his statement, saying that Ford dose not, in fact, track its customers in their cars "without their approval or consent."
Apparently carried away with a hypothetical notion, Farley was attempting to describe how Ford might be able to employee aggregated user data for things like accurate traffic reporting and pattern spotting. A Ford spokesperson confirmed with Business Insider that its GPS units are not sharing the whereabouts of drivers, though there are a few on-board services that might do so. After opting in to the services (and presumably being made aware of any/all tracking and data collection), Ford's Sync Services Directions and Crew Chief software do, in fact, allow data collection as a means of improving both systems. Farley added that the opt-in data is not shared, even when being tracked.
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
