1999 Ford Expedition being offered for PARTS or REPAIR. Vehicle was running good with no problems, then it sat for about 3 months. Would not start. Had battery charged and checked and still didn't get it to turn over. Put in a can of sea-foam gas treatment, still didn't start. I don't really have the time to keep troubleshooting. Engine and transmission were both running great while it was still operable a few months ago. Since the vehicle needs to be started to check the mileage, I am not able to give an accurate number. I believe it was between 155,000 and 160,000 when I quit driving it. There are a few cosmetic issues. Puncture near the gas tank, body damage to passenger side front, & puncture in the hood. Interior has issues also. Cracking on center console, driver side seat has some tearing. Both front window motors are not working, and the windows were silicone shut to prevent them from falling. Driver side door panel is off (but I do have it). AC was also not working. Missing third row seat. Has a 5 disc CD changer, power locks, & leather, tires still seem to be in decent shape. Also recently had to cut off the positive battery wire because I was in a tight spot and had to rig another vehicle to start. This is a CASH on PICKUP auction only. Winning bidder must contact me within 3 days to arrange pickup. Pickup must be made withing 10 days of auction completion. Located in Springfield GA 31329.

Why 2015 is going to be a huge year for trucks
Thu, Jan 22 2015Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn took center stage to introduce the 2016 Titan last week at the Detroit Auto Show. He spoke of the truck's new features, impressive Cummins V8 diesel engine and the extensive amount of time and money required to build a modern, competitive pickup truck. "We have done all of this because we see opportunity – an opportunity in the unmet needs of today's American truck customers," Ghosn said. He was speaking about the Titan, but his thoughts echo the industry's mindset: When it comes to trucks, find an opportunity and attack. Even with CAFE regulations looming and fickle consumer preferences, investing in trucks is a no-brainer for automakers. Some consumers will always need a truck for their job or lifestyle. And some people will always want one, whether they need it or not. With that in mind, here are four reasons why the pickup-truck sector is more important than ever and poised for growth in 2015. View 24 Photos The Nissan Titan Is Back Okay, it never left, but the Titan hadn't been redesigned since its launch in 2003, and Nissan sold more NV200s than Titans in 2014. It's an understatement to say the truck was languishing. That all changes with the 2016 model. The Titan will come in two variants, a traditional fullsize competitor and the Titan XD. The XD will lead the market launch, and it arrives late this year. It's pitched as a "whitespace" offering, Nissan sales and marketing vice president Fred Diaz said. The idea is to offer something in the general size and price range of a fullsize truck, but also have some of the capability of a heavy-duty truck. The XD uses a fully boxed ladder frame, the chassis design from Nissan's commercial division, and the wheelbase is about 20 inches longer than other Titan models. The XD, which Nissan is calling the flagship of the line, will be the only model with the 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8. It produces 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque, while being able to tow 12,000 pounds. V6 and V8 gasoline models will also be offered on the Titan XD and the standard, non-XD model. When production ramps up, the Titan will be sold with several cabs, beds and trims. New features include trailer sway control, an integrated trailer brake controller, more storage options in the cabin and even laminated front and rear side glass to reduce outside noise. All of this has given Nissan fresh confidence in an area where it admittedly has been lacking. "We can compete," Diaz told Autoblog.
Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels
Tue, 22 Jan 2013During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.
Ford moving medium-duty F-Series production from Mexico to Ohio
Thu, 27 Feb 2014
A few more Ford trucks will be built in the US in the near future with news that production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks will move from Mexico to Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, OH. Ford hasn't confirmed a precise timeline for the move, but The Detroit News claims the Blue Oval will make the shift later this year or in early 2015.
As Ford spokesperson Mike Levine reminded us, back in 2011, Ford announced in an investor release that it would shift production "after the [Ohio] plant stops current production of the Ford E-Series vans." According to that release, the Ohio factory will also receive $128 million in upgrades to build the new trucks, plus the F53 motorhome chassis and F59 commercial chassis.
